When I first started interacting with APIs that use JSON I wanted a JS library to automatically convert a JSON structure into, hopefully semantically correct, HTML which I could then easily style with CSS. Just finished with a conference where the name badge had holes on both ends of the top edge of the badge. The lanyard part went through both. This doesn't completely stop the "flipping around" problem but does mitigate it.

One thing I can say is that I love the attention to detail you put in the slider thumb labels. Especially for those where the labels would collide and you merge them into a single label showing an interval.

Sure thing. That is another way to hone in on the center. Some sort of tactile gravity well implementation. I think that if 5-ways on candy bar phones were actually joysticks instead of 5 buttons this may work better. And it could definitely work on devices with mini-trackballs.

Like the concept, reminds me of QuickWrite. However, I am skeptical of claims that text could be entered without viewing. At a minimum it seems that viewing would be required to target the center circle. Maybe this could be solved by "re-centering" the entire input space based on initial touch.

Good thing ShoutKey gives you the key as opposed to you choosing it. I can imagine someone ShoutKey squatting otherwise.

It does. Also as far as the Georgia Tech campus goes you won't find a Pepsi vending machine anywhere. Even the on-campus Pizza Hut sells Coke.

But once you get past the first round of stomach churning illness that food and tea is great! It's usually all I eat when I visit family in India. I haven't gotten sick from road-side food for the last 6 trips back.

Because it's not a storefront to sell apps, it's just a catalog, and the developer of the webapp needs to take care of anything like that on their own.

I understand that it is a catalog and not a store. I didn't mean to imply that the exact webpage you linked was a storefront.

How would Apple try to cash in on these when most of them are free or tied to a service that I assume a lot of developers created the webapp for in the first place, rather than have to fork over 30%/pay the $99 iOS Developer Program fee/deal with review hassles with Apple?

Other than the OP I have seen other complete applications built on top of web technologies. I can believe that there are some web devs who would be willing to have their app reviewed and do the revenue share if it meant they didn't have to worry about setting up a store front and handling payments.
