Looks like it's restricted by Location (Probably US only).

I'm from Nigeria (West-Africa).. And while I agree that west african countries cannot be classified as southern africa, i also think "sub-saharan africa" is too broad.

Same here.. I waited for a while expecting some sort of animation.. but nothing. Nice illustration but a bit disappointing. I expected more.

My simple solution to prevent your site from looking "bootstrap-y" is to design a mockup of what you want to achieve first (in maybe photoshop or fireworks) then re-create that interface with bootstrap & make sure you use the design as a guide. Works every time.

Disclaimer: I'm a front-end designer.

I deleted my facebook account last year after i upgraded to the new timeline which was still a preview to developers only. I was concerned about the lack of privacy at the time, it was only till recently that they included more settings. The one thing i regretted the most was losing my facebook vanity url. Even after deleting your account your url (facebook.com/username) is gone forever!

I've been a front-end developer for many years now and lately I've been considering learning a programming language. I learned html/css first and focused more on learning design softwares to improve my designs.

But the problem now is when I have an idea for an app, I can't develop it since I don't know any back-end language. I have developers I work with but they don't have the time to develop my little ideas. My JS is also weak. I'm 23, I don't think I'm too old to learn but it would have been easier a few years ago.

I think the problem for most people (including me) is constantly thinking of how long it would take to reach mastery.
