You'll probably just need to keep two phones. One hostile spying device that you use for authenticating and dealing with government stuff, and that becomes e-waste every 2 years. Then you have one that you can repair and extend for your own stuff that respects you and your privacy.

I am not sure I'd use this over exposing websites with wireguard as those will automatically work across platforms. But it looks like you could create some really cool experiences with it, and I'm happy people are exploring this space.

Person learns the idea that being unethical pays of sometimes. And therefore, ethics don't matter.

Article states it's not multimodal. I guess that means for webdev it means you can't take a screenshot to indicate errors etc.

Self-help books are so often ridiculued, and that ridicule is often well merited. At the same time there was a self-help book that basically gave me a whole different outlook on life, and cured my depression over night. So I can't deny they have a place and can really help people.

There's an option `make localyesconfig` (or similar)/which uses the kernel modules loaded on your current system.

It's funny how many people here like it. Well it doesn't surprise me since the websites being upvoted here from startups look like this too.

Personally I barf when I come across a website that looks like this and close it immediately. It's about as appealing as stock images. I also immediately think that this is for a SAAS that will be bog-slow, expensive and only integrates with github.

I sandbox all my utilities and programs in case some compromised third-party dependency decides to run lose. It's a way to limit the blast radius.
