Randy was a fixture in our S11 batch and had as much of an insight into YC as the people in the program. He sat in on and experienced private meetings, office hours, social events, dinners, Demo Day, and fundraising so he is as qualified to write about YC as anyone. I just wrapped up the advance copy of The Launch Pad, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants an inside look at what life is like in YC.

Completely agree. Bad design to place card readers in non-obvious places. You should be basically unable to leave the station without running into one.

Chosen.js has a great UI, but I found it challenging to do customizations to the library. I wish that the authors of the library had exposed more event hooks or built it with more modularity.

Also worthwhile checking out https://github.com/meltingice/ajax-chosen, which adds much-needed Ajax support to Chosen.js.

FYI, I run Chrome with the Better Pop Up Blocker extension, and when I first loaded your site I got nothing but a gray screen. I see "Uncaught TypeError: Property 'scrollTo' of object [object Window] is not a function" in the developer console.

Will be interesting to see what Heroku ends up rolling out for the higher-priced dev database (comparable to the current 20 GB plan).

What dates does the program run?

When I saw my Docs start syncing in, I thought it meant I would be able to work on them offline. I was also disappointed, but I'm sure this functionality will roll out down the road.
