I’ve used it for years, including 3 separate cross-country trips (in the US), and it has been incredibly reliable. Its traffic data is very current, and it has proactively rerouted me multiple times because of this data as well as weather data.

The pain points experienced early on have all cleared up for me. I understand this is not everyone’s experience (I’ve heard complaints from those not in the US), but it’s hard for me to justify switching away from it in its current state.

Technically it’s zoom, and how it functions is dependent on the app. In Finder it used to resize the window to a size that contained all the icons. Clicking it again would revert the window size.

Not from my experience. I see product managers/owners and software engineers using Macs more than Windows where I work, and it’s in healthcare, not SV. This move to Mac was gradual, starting ~10 years ago, and I believe a part of this was moving away from native apps to web apps.

This was also available on the Chevy Bolt EUV as an add-on for $2,200. The Bolt EUV started at $28,795, so with the add-on it could be had for ~$31k before tax, title, etc. Not sure where you got the $200k+ number.

You’re describing the now cancelled Chevy Volt. The second generation (2016-2019) was advertised to get you 54 miles on a full charge before the generator kicked on.

I have found that a reboot has freed up purgeable space when the CLI commands fail to do so. Very frustrating to need to reboot solely because your filesystem seems to be holding disk space hostage.

Have you looked into a headset compatible with Teams that has a mute button? My work provided a Logitech branded headset that has volume, hang up, and mute buttons on the cord, which makes it much easier to unmute myself while multitasking.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. I have read about others with long COVID finding relief after being vaccinated or catching it again. While I cannot in good faith recommend anyone attempting to catch COVID for a second time, I am curious if you were vaccinated after your bout, and if so, did it have an impact.
