Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Ember.js a client side only framework?

So unless you are planning to use this on an internal dashboard or something, what stops anyone from dropping your index if you expose 9200 to the public with ES? Or am I missing something?

It's an interesting visualization, but thumbnails of the sites for HN links just don't seem that powerful to me.

Since hacking and startups are very much tied together in this community, I give it a "thumbs up" too.

As for comments farther down, it's a case of curiosity like I said - corporate/company culture, not their products. I think that's relative no matter what the company size is.

Ok ya, I understand it's a secretive culture. But plenty of people talk about going to, and getting rejected, at other places also...

I think it's a great idea. As aitoehigie said, there's a lot of less technical developers out there that don't want to handle that stuff, but want something more custom and/or powerful than a base vps or managed hosting service.

Just find a way to whitelabel it yourself.
