What should we call these people? Your being upset at them being called Nazis says more about you than Trudeau.

Note that the protest organizers made no attempt to dissociate themselves from these and only did so in the later days of the protests.

Trudeau's criticism of his conservative colleagues was more about them not criticizing these people (which they didn't) and not calling them Nazis.

It's also telling that the protests against lockdowns criticizing Trudeau, calling for his death (https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/trudeau-protest-racist-deat...) were not addressed towards Doug Ford, the Ontario premier responsible for the lockdowns. No politician in Canada should get any death threats but the point I am making was no criticism was directed towards Doug Ford for something he did (the longest lockdown in North America in Ontario) but towards Trudeau, who had no role in it.

That tells you everything you need to need to know, that is, if you want to know it and not be willfully obtuse.

Then the whole point of this thing is pointless. We're selectively punishing people. We don't prevent or punish positive cases from going around to work, public transport, etc and infecting others, yet we punish people that choose to simply not vaccinate.

It's not pointless. Unvaccinated people are far far more likely to occupy the hospital and the ICU -- see above. How is that pointless? I am not talking about positivity as that is not relevant. See the official numbers above.

Quite the hyperbole: not all government services, just employment insurance and that too if you were only fired for not receiving the vaccine. A reminder that in many of these jobs, there was already a requirement for getting a set of vaccines so this is not new. Though for some people, this vaccine is "different" but once you ask them to explain why they can't. So no new rules. You needed vaccines for most of the jobs and this just an additional one.

You will still receive employment insurance for other stuff, irrespective of your vaccination status.

You are not prevented from accessing essential businesses and no one checks your vaccination status or even asks for one.

even restricted from traveling and the ability to work

You are still free to drive to work or take local public transit.

Please read the article I linked. The GitHub repository doesn't have any of the code that is relevant. For example, the code on api.webprobe is obfuscated and is not open source. For a long time as the article notes, there was no warning before the tests ran and even now, the list of website the web probe scans is not shared anywhere, not even after you run the tests.

Please be extremely careful with their reporting. They don't publish their data and it's a mystery on how they get access to it.

I exclusively cook on cast iron or stainless steel. They don't have any non-stick coatings and if Dark Waters taught me anything, I don't trust any non-stick coatings. In fact, one study found the Teflon alternatives to be a lot worse.
