Keep Android Open 5 months ago

I wish I could. There are many proprietary apps for banks and governments, which are definitely not available for Linux based phones. Maybe I can run them through waydroid though, I don't want to risk my fully working Pixel to try it out.

Termux 6 months ago

Being able to use openclaw or github copilot remotely through ssh would be nice. I think there should be a dedicated interface though, typing into termux using on-screen keyboard is a real pain.

Making RSS More Fun 8 months ago

It's a bit off-topic but you can get user experiemce quite similar to that of Tiktok using Read You rss reader on Android.

For those who don't know about LINE, it's something like WhatsApp but with tons of advertisements and hateful contents. It's the worst chat app imaginable.

1 and 2 are already in the typst ecosystem. What you really need is a professional account as CERN member,on Typst.

To me Teams sucks very hard, especially when running it on Firefox based browsers. It takes 30 seconds to load a page with colorless icons and empty content (while other websites load instantly), followed by another 10 seconds to prompt me with a login button. Every. Single. Time.

It's posted on HN several times before but I found it still relevant.

I have access to my university's old Linux server that has glibc 2.8 and gcc 4.1.3 installed, and most of the cli tools don't work unless they provide musl binaries (or AppImage).

It's not the point of the oost but the large rainbow text on top is slosing down my browser like hell.
