I can build products from scratch and operate them in production with hundreds of thousands of users. I am reliable, detail oriented, and a fast learner. I enjoy leading a team, but I'm equally happy working autonomously. I'm looking for a growing company filled with smart people.

I'm an experienced SW engineer bad at marketing myself. I have built and been part of various projects, from iOS apps, HTTP APIs to CRUD web apps and ETL pipelines. On the ducktape hack --- perfect code spectrum, I'm more to the right, but I understand trade-offs and when to accept them. I enjoy team-leading and teaching/training less experienced team members. I'm always interested in the broader picture, how does software engineering fit into it and how I can help.

I'm looking for a high growth startup filled with smart people who know how to get stuff done.

I sent you an email last month, applying for the lead iOS engineer, but no one replied. Are you still hiring for that position? Alternatively, would you consider a candidate without node.js experience?

We're a small but fast growing mobile dev studio. We have one well funded, in house project with global focus and presence in SV plus a couple of smaller ones. We're seeking mobile (Android, iOS, Windows Phone 7) & back-end (Python) developers. No prior experience necessary, just show us you're a good programmer, willing to learn and work hard. Why the downvote? I'm just asking questions I'm genuinely interested in.

Will the angles invest pre-seed/seed money? Will they invest in teams not in France?

Yeah, too bad the application deadline for Techstars NY was closed couple of hours ago. I suggested Openfund because it's also based in Greece, but it's Pan European.

You need a webcam to fill out the application form. I assume they want to see how founders react to the questions first-hand, but it seems weird, like someone is spying on you.

Email has been free since the beginning. People are used to it, that's why I think senders would hate having to use it, even boycott the service. It would also set a dangerous precendence that email doesn't have to be free.

My friends built something similar - NiceReply http://nicereply.com/

It was originally custom built in their webhosting company, but now they've created a standalone product out of it. NiceReply has API, so you can integrate it in any CRM you're already using. It's really cool, check it out.

Sure I can live without most things that solve a problem, but that's not the point. I want to understand if there's some added value for the users, why would they start (and continue) using it in the first place. Jerome_etienne gave a good answer, but you also made a good point with the "invented needs". On the other hand, I'm not sure that can last for more than a couple of years on its own. Users flock to the next hot thing all the time.

I've been using OhLife for some time now and really like it. Since the sign-up I never visited the webpage, all my interaction with the service is done through the email. This is absolutely brilliant. Every day, before I go to sleep, I reply to the "how did your day go" email, looking back at the day. It also improved my writting. Great work guys!

It was built as a FB page because it was easy and fast to create. They know it is not the best solution, but does it works for now.
