Internet is way behind on democracy. In general everyone likes democracy until they're in charge, then they realise they're the best person to be in charge and the idiots who vote don't have a clue, and should probably be banned if not beheaded for speaking out of turn.

You'd have to weight votes by some kind of participation metric to solve the problem of very little authentication of the voters

He said moon first, not no Mars. And a decade to build a moon city, not to get there.

However what people say and their real reasons aren't always the same.

I assume Issacman went around to everyone and convinced them to say they're all switching on the moon, add another test flight to delay things, and in return they'll switch to using Starship in the future as they will cancel Block 1B of Artemis

Going to Mars takes about the same delta-v as the moon.

SpaceX launches 80% of the world's mass to orbit, they probably know what they're doing.

Starship is an extremely hard problem, and their aim is to reduce cost of getting mass to orbit by another 10x after Falcon 9 did the same.

Falcon 9 needs about 4% of fuel to land on a ship, 14% to return to launchpad

Why would you say they've had 100% failure rate? What did you think the reason was to launch and how did it fail?

You want to add a load of buttons? Should be easy enough, just get them to send codes to the computer via the network.

Door handles are harder, what do you want to change? Inner or outer?

What's insane about the charging port?

They invented offices because the massive increase in productivity required more organisation than "I'll take it all to the market on Saturday"

Surely as soon as they're safer than humans they should be deployed as fast as possible to save some of the 3000 people who are killed by human drivers every day

Every news organisation thinks they're the one you want to read, they want you to be a loyal customer to them and not read other newspapers. Google News used to have "see 349 other articles on this story" which really showed how pointless news organisations were, constantly rewriting/licencing other people's content.

Any news aggregator platform is only used by news organisations under duress.
