Watched The Fall of the House of Usher on Netflix. One of the best TV shows in recent memory if you ask me!

This is an amazing idea! I use a much more rudimentary version of this to read (and learn along the way) multiple languages. My favorite method so far.

I was curious and I have the browsing module for GPT4 so I tried to get it to name the top 3 cards, the following is what it came up with after like 10 minutes of back and forth and it browsing a lot of sites. I don't know if this is any good as I know nothing about the game. Do these cards even exist?

Talons of Lightning: This is a major power card with an energy cost of 6. It's a fast card with a range of 1 from Sacred Site. It targets any land and deals 4 damage. If you meet its threshold requirement (3 Air and 2 Fire), it deals +3 damage and destroys all Dahan 1 2 . Tsunami: This is another major power card with an energy cost of 6. It's a slow card with a range of 2 from the ocean. It affects every coastal land in one board, dealing 6 damage to each. If you meet its threshold requirement (3 Water and 3 Earth), it deals +4 damage and adds 2 fear per land where it destroys any towns or cities 3 4 . Blazing Renewal: A major power card with an energy cost of 5. It's a fast card with a range of 0, measured from any land. It targets any land, allows you to gather up to 2 of your destroyed presence, and deals 2 damage per presence gathered. If you meet its threshold requirement (4 Fire and 2 Earth), it deals +10 damage 5 6 .

The improvement here is that it can go as high as 300m (1000ft) and winds are much stronger there. And once you're done or approaching the harbor you can furl it in and never think about it again. Sails... not so much. Especially on ships of this size!

I agree, however I really like what https://firecracker-microvm.github.io/ is doing to change the above.

It's the other way around though: it's not them or their creation that is killing the patient, it's the virus. There's a big difference between their creation being unable to save the patient and actively killing them.

Lofoten is unique. The rise of social media, the non-stop posts of its picturesque landscape sells it to the masses. The infrastructure is better, it's bigger and there are a lot of inhabitants, hotels and whatnot. Solund is tiny compared to the Lofoten region.

Why not simply fire those who they don't want to work with anymore? They're clearly used to do that at IBM and it would be much more controlled and cost effective.

This is awesome! I can imagine these kind of buyouts becoming really popular in the future. The usual process (detailed in the post) is awful and has to be disrupted.

Finally something from China that I can wholeheartedly agree with.

It won't be Skynet that exterminates the human population, it will be a (number of) small group(s) to whom we voluntarily or rather unknowlingly give control over all aspects of our lives: cars, fridges, smart homes, airplanes, dams, nuclear weapons... Somehow we should raise awereness before it's too late. Hopefully it's not too late already.
