Me also but have regularly checked their 2fa threads because it's a feature I'm interested in so was surprised to see them gone so soon after the hack. As you say, could be unrelated.

I agree with some of the other comments that using it in some of the places I've travelled would be unrealistic due to battery life.

Living in Clapham Junction, an area that was severely affected, during the London riots in 2011 I would say the opposite was true. Whilst many parts of the city were being trashed, the news struggled to keep up. It was much worse and widespread than they were able to depict.

FWIW, earthquakes are different to riots. I did the same as you in Christchurch, New Zealand recently after the earthquake there and would agree, the majority of the city was untouched with the epicentre being destroyed.

Definitely agree here. There's a violent undercurrent in New Zealand that you'd never see in 10 days. Gangs & drugs are also a big problem.

Happen to agree that Launchpad and Mission Control aren't great but that's just my personal opinion.

I would have to disagree. Have experienced at least 5 of the things that he mentions on two separate Macs.

Address book, which he doesn't mention, has also been redesigned and had a number of very useful features removed.
