I get a heart attack whenever I have to view core file from a decently complicated C++ program. The amount of template-in-a-template-in-a-template...(and this continues for some time) is not so readable to me. Maybe it is just me.

In Poland smaller companies tell you outright: this and that person is on vacation, but plese call back in 2 weeks. Bigger companies will often ignore you and drag your problem through the vacation time.

The first thing I do on every new phone is to turn off 99% of notifications. Messaging ones and email are first to go. I cannot stand the constant beep-beep.

Packet round trip between US and EU is approx. 100ms. Given acceptable latency for voice communication is below 300ms, we should not worry about that too much.
In some games - most famously Doom - entire multiplayer is based on exchanging just the inputs and the games on all connected computers are deterministic enough to provide same outcome on all of them.
I am one of the authors of Fire Fight game (1996-ish) and we pulled the same stunt. It was actually easy, we just had to build our own "random number generator" and fix all bugs with uninitialized memory :-)
Some things are idioms that one repeats so often they just stick, e.g. I use "grep.... | cut -c x-y | sort | uniq -c | sort -nr" to quickly grep frequency of some events from a log file.
Don't feel bad - no one remembers them all, we just remember a few idioms we use...

I have 4 crowns, 2 done using moulds, 2 using the 3d scanner. Same doc, same office. The moulded ones were ok with some adjustments, but the 3d scanned ones were perfect since day 1. I'm happy with the progress in dentistry.

In my experience, no matter how many panels you install, Solar can cover power consumption 30-40% of its max capacity. Winter, night, bad weather will eat the rest. To go beyond the 30-40% you will need energy store or alternative sources.

BTW, I do not know why you are getting downvoted, this is a real concern that someone needs to tackle one day.
That was always my feeling - however big Wikipedia is, however many requests it handles, it is not big enough to warrant burning so many millions every year. Alas, I never studied the subject, as overall I feel Wikipedia is good force in the Universe.
So perhaps price comes with the greatness?
