But in a less unrealistic scenario, if I were by chance, to be president of Israel, I would try first to dismantle illegal settlements and defuse conflict to avoid, for example, 2023 being the deadliest year for children in west bank way before Oct 7.

I mean, what I saw from videos on social media and news, are single protestors baiting the police acting like they were in danger when the video shows that they were ignored, saw counterprotestors sneaking in the night to the encampments and attacking them also without repercusion, we even saw the protestors attacked with a stink bomb, then the perpetrator getting a payout from the university for attempting a suspension.

Everything Trump does also makes total sense if you take in account American exceptionalism; which also explains why half the population and half the political apparatus supports him; even beyond that, that also explains how the other half is adamant on blaming a country with a GDP less than even some US states on this problem rather than self reflect on the internal causes.
