amen, god forbid they try to make a polished display of new features instead of fumbling through live presentations

I've connected my apple magic keyboard to my phone before, mostly just to see if it worked. It's a small compact thin and light keyboard. I'd imagine most keyboards with bluetooth these days probably connect, just depends on what kind of form factor you're looking for

I bought one of these in 2018 on ebay for my dad, and had it shipped from japan.

Living in the US I had to jump through the hoop of making a fake japanese icloud account just to be able to access the app on the app store, which is how you control the device.

Ultimately it seemed like a really cool device but at least at the time wasn't very effective or practical for cooling down, at least in my and his experience. This was mostly just being outside, doing yard work etc in the hot summer.

I think buying one of the <$50 portable neck coolers on amazon are probably just as if not more effective

unless i'm missing something I've been able to see the precipitation timelines for some time now in their weather app and widget, at least an hour out. (e.g. "Light rain is expected to stop in 17 min")

this was one of my favorite features too but afaict they integrated it (i'm on ios 16.3)

I switched to using NetNewsWire as an open-source alternative and have been enjoying it, the mac desktop client works great for my needs. Had previously been using feedly for quite sometime, had contemplated upgrading but honestly didn't feel compelled to pay for an rss service. I sync my feeds via icloud and it works fine between desktop and mobile

How are you making the metabase<-->steampipe connection? Are you able to connect metabase directly to a running steampipe/ postgres server instance? or are you doing some ETL into metabase. Thanks in advance (metabase is new to me, but steampipe has been really handy)
