I have severe obstructive sleep apnea -- am 6ft and 210. I wear a CPAP and now swear by it. A couple things to help those who try:

1) Make sure you have a CPAP machine with a water tank so the forced air is moist. For me, if the water runs out, that's when I wake up bc my nose dries.

2) Get a spray saline solution for your nose -- not Afrin or drugs (habit inducing) -- just simple and cheap Arm & Hammer Simply Saline.

3) Wear a shirt when you're in bed and put the hose under your shirt so it's hard to roll off.

4) Bonus -- sleep elevated.

Those are my best tips. If you can do the CPAP and suffer the awkwardness, you'll really feel so much better. First time it stuck, I woke up at 4:45 am fully rested and felt as if a heavy weight was lifted off me.

Best luck :)

Nice job. . . I looked for kite boarding spots in Puerto Rico and everything showed up. I really like the clean UI too.

Hey Chris. . . given the novel nature of your product (it looks very sleek btw) and you're looking to gather feedback, maybe we can talk using askhumans.io to gather feedback at scale? also, many years ago, I worked on compressed air energy storage on the demand side and we looked at co-generation opportunities to drive the caes turbines. anyways, would love to connect.

I say hover because the pentagon is saying the same object was seen twice in two days. . . The day before it was in Montana then 24 plus hours later in Michigan.

“A unidentified object has been shot down by U.S. forces over Lake Huron, according to the Department of Defense. The object appears to be the same object that had been detected over Montana a day earlier, said officials.“

Funny, we're literally launching a new project today that allows for distributed focus groups. We haven't changed over the DNS -- here's the Heroku link (https://opinion-graphs-website.herokuapp.com)

How we got here: for a while we had been struggling with breaking through on another project that user voice input to measure sentiment for office space.

Last week, we took a step back and thought that having a tool that could allow start-ups to ask opened ended questions where people could just "talk" and what they said is analyzed for sentiment would be valuable. So that's what we're building with OpinionGraphs. IMHO this is directly in the vein of PG's points about learning from users.

With whatever you're building, if you're interested in trying a new way to connect to users or targeted customers along the lines of PG's advice, please dm me or just leave a comment here and I'll reach out.

Wow. Would have thought that reporters would have done the lookup that you did. And explained their absent record. Several other outlets are running with the story too.

tldr: My mom has no idea what force touch is. She'd not going to get 3d touch.

I love all of this, but it seems to me that there is really becoming a divide in the type of people who can fully appreciate/employ the UI nuances? I'm not a photographer, and basically only use photoshop to crop and do bullish things. But I know there's a whole universe of things I could do, if I appreciated the power set tools.

I think that's where many "smart" products are going, but because they are distributed to the masses (unlike PS for instance), that divide means something else.

For some people this is going to make their "daily lives" more enjoyable. For another set of folks, perhaps equal in size even, I think a lot of this stuff will just go over their heads.

Our thinking (applewatchlease.com) about why leasing will be a good option. . .

"But we think the Apple Watch will be different, especially during the first couple generations. The type and magnitude of features that will likely be added over the next generations will render previous models nearly obsolete. In some senses, this is true for a lot of other Apple products. The first couple generations account for important missing functionality, and then further generations embark on a path towards refinement. But even conflated to other apple product developments, we think the apple watch will have a sharper risk becoming irrelevant as newer models launch."

I'm super concerned for your well being and I don't even know you. What screams to me is that the last thing you should do is to try to do anything like start a business. It does not matter if you follow the best advice, and even do everything that you had done wrong right going forward. When you say things like "I hate what my life has become," then just stop what you're doing for a while.

Really. . . just stop.

Now, I know this will be hard to do. You've probably defined yourself as something different than your peers, and your peers (although not doing start-ups/tech etc) probably admire you. Hell, even your girlfriend lying in bed alone is probably saying that you're a mad genius and that's why your on your computer. Anyways, still even with the social pressure to go on, I suggest you just stop.

Spend the rest of the year focusing of feeling better not doing better. Grab some books, take that trip, and just give yourself a break. I'm not one to suggest self-help books but Stephen Covey has this excellent metaphor in 7 Habits about keeping the saw sharp. The saw is you. Right now it seems like the blade is pretty dull from excessive work. So stop and reread what you posted hear and see how you have described what you have lost.

Grab beers with your friends. Spend time with your gf. Save that 5K because 5k is far better than 0k. And on a side note, any person who e-mails you saying that they want to work with you, given how you have expressed your current state, should stop too.

Shouldn't this post now be deleted given the Reddit article? Seems sort of pushy if Ryan wants to be left alone for a little longer to keep such a thread up that has no news value.
