This is one of the core usecases of cloudflared (https://github.com/cloudflare/cloudflared)! Without having a static IP address or dynamic DNS, you can establish a connection between your machine in a private network with Cloudflare. And once a resource is on the Cloudflare network, you can pretty much do anything with it, including routing your visitors to that server and using the full Cloudflare stack including its CDN, firewalls, and Anti-Bot protections.
What does Gandi provide wrt DNS that is worth a premium? What do they offer that at-cost domain registrations & free DNS management from Cloudflare do not?
In regards to your last question, it’s “an LLM”.
The distinction between using “a” vs “an” is one based on the immediately proceeding syllable sound rather than the letter. If it’s proceeded by a vowel, then use “an”, and if it’s proceeded by a consonant, use “a”.
Because “LLM” is pronounced “el el em”, the first syllable sound is “eh”—a vowel.
The same letter may need different “a”/“an” article based on how the word is pronounced. For example “an LLM” vs “a layer”.

The parent comment referred to "keyframes" instead of just "frames". Keyframes—unlike normal frames—encode the full image. That is done in case the "delta" you mentioned could be dropped in a stream ending up with strange artifacts in the resulting video output. Keyframes are where the codec gets to press "reset".
Along with the other commenters, I'd be interested to know what you used. When I built my home, I took hundreds of photos of all wall and ceiling surfaces. I then later annotated those photo file names to the right places on the blueprint/schematics. Now I look up the photo file name from the schematic and pull up the right photo.
I would love to be able to just "walk through" and look around in 3D my house before the insulation & drywall went up. I wouldn't want to pay for those 3D house tours that realtors are using now if I built another house and wanted to do something similar.

I use three-finger drag on Mac (with a magic trackpad) and find that better than any combination of click & drag. Have you tried it?
Not publicly that I have seen, but I can assure you networking and cybersecurity companies (and others) saw this pretty quickly when the bug was first released. I was just glad to see a relatively big company calling out this rather egregious issue.

This might come off as quirky or weird but one of the things I miss the most about "iCal" (Calendar.app in macOS) is the infinite scroll (year, month, and week views). Fastmail's calendar has the infinite scroll on the month view, but not any other views.
I usually hate "infinite scroll" on say a timeline feed, but for calendar, it is exactly what I need as I very often move between months when I'm looking at my calendar.
Is there an extension in Firefox that'll bring the infinite scroll to calendar? Anything on the roadmap officially for that UX?
My absolute favorite is KNOW -- the news channel of the Minnesota Public Radio network. I think it's just about as perfect as you can get for a news channel.
Yes! Also consider letting people learn without authenticating at all. Those who care to save state/progress can log in. If you had an opportunistic "great job on completing level 10! if you want to save your progress, register here" message, I bet more people would register as well!

My airport doesn't have a taxi line. Also, traditional airport taxis in my area (which you have to call and wait for a dispatcher to dispatch a taxi anyways) are about 2-3x the cost of an uber/lyft ride.
I've been a supporter of Lyft as the underdog and tried my best to give them as much business as I could. I was trying to get a ride at an airport, and I got so frustrated that I gave up and had a very good experience with Uber.
What happened was this: I requested a ride, and it was confirmed by the driver who was about 15 minutes away. After waiting 10 minutes, the driver would cancel (and presumably go pick up someone else who had a higher fare). This happened literally 3 times, and I sat outside at the curb waiting for 30+ minutes. I gave up, requested a ride with Uber instead which had a similar price (<$2 delta, I think). The Uber driver not only not cancel on me but also was significantly closer causing me to wait less from the moment I requested a ride.

I don't notice any measurable latency. Heroku exposes their postgres instances directly on the public web (secured with a strong user/pass combo of course), so there's no difference, networking-wise. There's no additional reverse proxy or some tunnel to route through.
Heroku was the cheapest for the very small instance I needed.
The connections are made on-demand and are insanely fast.
I was recently just one of those affected by a random issue! I was made aware in the forums that maybe my VM had run out of space. That would've helped if an error message immediately alerted to my exhausted disk space. I realized that what I actually wanted was a managed provider and moved (back) to Heroku just for postgres. I recently moved out of there for my backend hosting & postgres to fly.io. My backend hosting stays on fly.io but will be putting my postgres in a managed platform.
I also moved my postgres/django backend to fly.io using their automated tool which worked flawlessly, and my frontend (sveltekit) went to vercel.
Both services have been flawless so far at a much better cost/value proposition.

One option I hope you will provide--that I hope is easy enough that you would actually consider--is to provide a key cap set that is completely blank, or is very minimal. I don't need anything printed on my keyboard, and I would prefer to not see such a gorgeous keyboard with all that white printed on it, especially the number caps.
I recently (<1mo) moved my educational nonprofit out of GoDaddy (email, web servers, domain registration) to CloudFlare (domain), SiteGround (hosting), and Google Workspace (free for nonprofits) and man, it feels great! Just being able to assign multiple administrator users with separate logins and all enforced 2FA is worth it alone. With GoDaddy, we had to have 1 shared account and it was always challenging to coordinate logging in because only 1 person could have 2FA on their phone.
On iOS, there's a browser called "Insight" which can do this automatically by injecting styles. I've began using an app for night-time use so I can take advantage of dark mode.
Are all the dollar amounts in the simulated tax output at the top of the page inflation adjusted?
For example, I inputted married, with no dependents with $500,000 salary and in 1977, the federal amount was $299,864 and in 2020 was $133,947. I assume these amounts can be compared without further adjusting for inflation?
Tangentially, did federal taxes really come down that much?
Is there a plug-in or another software that does this? I’ve been looking for ways to statically “archive” a Wordpress site so I can host it on GitHub Pages but still have the editing/theme/plug-in support. I don’t care about the search functionality.
I do exactly as you say: commit early and commit often. However, something I find quite successful when publishing a Pull Request (aka CR/MR), especially large ones, is that I'll use git rebase to group chunk diffs together in a logical flow to create an easy-to-review set of commits.
If I have 5 commits that are all whitespace changes, I'll use git rebase to group them into one commit before I push.
If it's a large, complex PR, then I'll reorder my commits and pick-and-choose chunks from the many commits so that they make sense in a progression. For example, I might just add one new component in the first commit. Add a second component in the second commit. Third commit might be integrating those two components into the system.
If my PR consists of both "cleanup" like running black on python, then I'll make that its own commit instead of littering actual functional changes within cosmetic ones.
I try to make it as easy as possible for my reviewers to review my code and actually catch mistakes. I also tell the reviewers to look at the commits separately and not to look at the entire diff which can sometimes be hundreds of thousands of lines of code. Even a large PR with 500+ lines of changes can be easy to review if you structure the commits right. (It's really like many PRs within one PR.)
You may ask, why not have separate PRs then for each commit? Sometimes, that makes sense when it's so large that it's worth having an integration branch that lasts weeks or months. Sometimes, it's not possible to just merge that one commit due to problems it'll cause with compilation or linting or other issues. Also, with separate PRs, it can be more costly (in both CICD resources and the dev's time) to do automated testing on each commit separately.
With some practice, the git rebasing and reordering or restructuring commits is not as difficult as it sounds, especially with the aid of a good git GUI (I like Fork.app) that lets me choose exactly the chunk to commit from a particular diff.
Once I got really comfortable with this workflow, what I'll actually starting doing is... when I'm done with something and ready to put up a PR, I'll flatten (fixup) all my commits into one, and then I'll revert it and commit that. Then I revert the revert but instead of committing that revert-the-revert, I'll stage it. This gives me all of my changes in a staged state. Then I'll pick-and-choose chunks from that entire diff to craft a "narrative" like I was describing before. Once I have everything in the right order, I'll drop the first two commits to get of the initial and revert commits.
