One of the pivotal moments in my career has been when I used Emacs just enough to truly understand what "Emacs is an operating system" means, not just as a joke but as something I could believe in

CursorBench 3.1 21 days ago

I like Composer a lot as a general-purpose workhorse, but putting it over gpt5.5 medium makes the whole graph lose trust to me, asme witg GLM so low

iPhone pro max, fits nicely even with a cover, i also have a x3 but slightly prefer the bigger screen of x4’s but portability on is the read deal

Just seeing it act as a trigger to read for me, especially when book cover as standby background

The amount of cargo-culting around AI tooling and practices is so weird to me.

I’ve surely spent more time modding PSP than playing games. Zero regrets

I just wish I started getting into software earlier, at that time it felt something super hard for “A beautiful mind” people

Does Better Auth still have the weird design to be everything “request header based”? I remember running admin scripts and tests to be very hacky due to it cause if you skipped that plugins wouldn’t run

Spending less time online, overwhelmed by what others are building with AI 24/7 has been a very good countermeasure for me.

It got me back into enjoying things more

Many, including me tried the $100 just to try Opus (wasn’t available of pro before) and first thing I thought was “worth it”

Let’s say my trust level and appreciation for the product for the past month had a big negative hit for me

For many people Vercel is Easy (not simple)

Knowing how to operate a basic server is perceived as hard and dangerous by many, especially the generation that didn’t have a chance to play with Linux for fun when growing up
