Well, each blog post is under 30 kb without images. So page load is very fast. Speed is one of the main reason why I use my own static site generator. Since it is hosted on Github Pages, it depends on how fast Github can deliver the page :)

All images come from Pokedex that is hosted on the official Pokemon website: http://www.pokemon.com/us/pokedex/

Currently, the application fetches random pokemon, which might explain why there might be repeats. However, changing difficulty levels lets application choose from broader range of Pokemons. Can you try that?

Wow. This looks really cool.

One of my blog posts made to the top of the front page and remained on the front page for 3-4 hours. The blog was on Medium and their stats showed close to 25k visits on that day.

Dell XPS 15 L501x. Bought it in 2011, battery doesn't work anymore, replaced HDD twice and upgraded RAM. Still going strong and I expect it will server for another couple of years. I use it primarily as my home computer, because it is a bit bulky to carry around. But one hell of a laptop.

You are right. I had to create the ASCII tables, because I was not able to draw tables on Medium.

Hey Jason. Thats pretty interesting. I have also noticed similar things but for my case, we needed faster loading/unloading for some cases, hence ujson.
