I know it's very confusing to a lot of people, but USA stands for United States of America. It's also the only country in the world that has America in its name.

I really appreciate the resources provided. But I'm not a fan of the website suggesting that I want/need privacy because I have something to hide.

I expect Facebook to archive my profile and everything I've ever posted there or publicly. I don't really expect them to archive my private chat and not give me a way to delete it.

I guess they want to make sure that there is a permanent log of everything. Yet another reason not to use Facebook.

Another fun fact:

Even if you delete a photo from an album, Facebook doesn't get rid of it immediately. I know this because I was able to retrieve a photo that I'd seen in someone's album, a day after it had been removed from that album, by retrieving the image url in my browser history.

I don't think you can remove the whois information. It is a matter of public record, and they can and do archive it.

From what I've seen in the past, domaintools will not be willing to remove this information.

How many of 500+ people will have negative experiences which they will share online?

That's the danger of an event like that.

HBO needs to make all their shows available online for a fee. Just imagine how many monthly subscribers they would have, if they could provide access to all their shows.

Namecheap is definitely a good choice.

I highly recommend to everyone who is ever registering a domain name to stay away from Go Daddy. Unfortunately they are always looking for opportunities to make $. They make it difficult to transfer the domains to other registrars as well.

They also look for opportunities to replace your website with their parked page so they can enjoy ad revenue from your traffic until you notice and change it.

This is something that I would definitely subscribe to. The available names that you shared are pretty nice.

I do think that it would be hard to find people willing to pay for a list of available domain names, unless it were a very small amount, but even then you wouldn't likely have very many subscribers (and I think most would be domainers).

I think a way to monetize a free service/list like this would be to charge a fee for specific requests. Once you had established yourself as someone who could definitely come up with good names, I expect people would come to you, and you could charge to come up with a private list of available names for whatever their topic is.

Despite how effective this generally is, I feel dirty every time and I hate doing it.
