In California, the pharmacy computer queries some state database to log the purchase and get approval. If you buy too much too quickly your purchase will be blocked.

My closest pharmacy “loses its connection to the system” frequently which results in them being unable to sell me the medicine. The computer will refuse to ring it up.

I've told the LLMs that, when traveling, I don't care about nightlife and alcohol. Because they have a memory of this, when I ask for a sample itinerary for a 2 day stay in a new city, it won't waste hours in the day on the party street, wine tasting, etc.

For example, instead of recommending a popular night club, it will recommend the stroll along the river to view the lit up skyline or to visit the night market instead.

It knows other preferences as well (exploring quirky neighborhoods, trying local fast food joints and markets)

The post auto plays videos as you scroll and sets them to full screen on mobile. It also seems to hijack all scrolling and stutters constantly on scroll.

Now I want to see one where you let any login work but dump them at a fake shell that logs the commands sent. I’m curious what they do. Could even crowd source a mapping of command string matches to example output.

This infuriates me. I launch the app to play music and am forced to interact with a pop-up promoting some random new release that is nowhere near the same universe as my music taste.

They recently did the annual “Wrapped” release. It took over the iOS Home Screen widget I use for playing/pausing recent playlists. The widget was unusable until you (1) watched the wrapped video in full on that device (didn’t matter that I had watched it on other devices before) and (2) you had to listen to the playlist they generated of your most played songs.

Many companies have discretionary budgets fully in control of the employee. For example, I had $2,500 per year to spend on valid expenses without needing prior approval.

I would argue that the price is too low. Any price under $200 is practically free to the employee with so many companies providing learning and development budgets.
