I think competition is good however you've pretty much ripped their design including the icons!

TL;DR - Erica Joy created a spreadsheet of salaries, it got shared internally at Google, apparently about 5% of total workforce filled it in.

Google has some sort of Peer Bonus scheme, Erica got lots of them but management decided to deny pretty much all of them.

She left google.

I'm currently working on a Hybrid React app, performance issues aside the real issue is documentation and support. As soon as you are beyond a basic web app wrapped in a container you realise quickly Corodova will always be a second class citizen.

On a more positive note React Native (https://facebook.github.io/react-native/) is mind blowingly amazing. I really can't recommend it enough, especially for Javascript developers.

I like the effects but the fact it only works with Chrome is a no-go for me. I don't see it being be too difficult to get this working in safari, firefox or modern IE..

When I move between the pages its noticeably slow, almost like you're actually loading a new page. I thought React was supposed to be fast?

I'm loving the whole Nomad theme going around at the moment. Its made me really think about where I want to be and I have a feeling its going to be anywhere and everywhere.

What I haven't seen much of is horror stories on working remotely -- specifically from people traveling around the world. Does anyone have any links?

Hybrid in this instance means HTML wrapped in an iOS wrapper ala Phonegap.

I'm really interested in this and am keen to try it out at the weekend!

How is this going to play with react-native though? My thoughts are it may be a bit late to the party.

I'm happy to see more options available to developers, Ionic looks like a great framework but I won't use it as its built on Angular.
