ironically they respect user privacy the most and collect the least amount of data that’s why they lag behind ai i don’t understand why you would expect them to win

I also find it a source of distraction in that the other monitor that I’m not currently working on disperses bright lights out of the corner of my eyes constantly vying for my attention

I'm 99% with this, except that when you work so hard on the challenging deep work and there's no energy left to be able enjoy the glory of the success.

It’s extremely difficult and requires lots of will power to dispose of your five different devices vying for your attention when you’re feeling “bored”before bed. These are like electronic drugs that makes everything enjoyable instantly available to us at a tap of a finger. However the joys coming out of screen are impulsive and transient, which increasingly makes me long for the simple and enduring fun time of the early days.

Very promising product. Having used PushBullet on my Pixel phone for such a long time, I’m scratching my head trying to find an alternative on iOS since it’s no longer available on the platform. I wonder if your app offers some kind of similar features, one of most prominent being sharing links and hopefully files between multiple devices, it be desktop or mobile.

Here's my shameless plug, SPolarfy.com is a Flask web app that helps me to find similar tracks on Spotify according to their audio features.

For me it's only gonna work if the music have already been what I use on repeat while doing other mundane tasks, like white noises sort of thing. Otherwise distraction for sure.

Multitasking is analogue to multithreading with GIL. As long as the tasks are computing/analytics intensive, you're better off dealing with them sequentially one at a time.
