It's not the only one using OCI to package models. There's a CNCF project called KitOps (https://kitops.org) that has been around for quite a bit longer. It solves some of the limitations that using Docker has, one of those being that you don't have to pull the entire project when you want to work on it. Instead, you can pull just the data set, tuning, model, etc.

I don't think that getting rid of 'Adtech' altogether is the answer. It's still a valuable source of revenue for many companies.

The point of the article was that the way 'Adtech' is currently used is broken. Ads shouldn't be a frustration or interruption to the native experiences where they are hosted.

I like the concept of RAM (Reward Activated Marketing) mentioned in the article, it takes into account UX, and good UX will always win.

I would suggest checking out Codenvy (http://codenvy.com) they recently released a new On-Prem version built on Eclipse Che (http://www.eclipse.org/che). Che has made some big steps forward recently, if you haven't looked into it lately I would strongly suggest taking some time to check it out.

This is an interesting topic. I automatically assume that it's a direct correlation to the type of visitors who use IE.

Either way, I'm curious if they will find anything with an ROV. Coral reefs in the middle of the ocean don't provide the necessary protection to preserve an artifact like her aircraft. Which would explain why a single piece was found washed up on an island.

I use a standing desk for work, the majority of the time I sit on my chair. But around 2:30pm, the ability to stand up for the rest of the day is a life saver. I know if I had a standing desk thorough high school, my 5th & 6th block classes would have been much easier to stay awake through.

I think that generally the greater issue is response times. I live in a small city in northern California, and due to budget costs our police force has not been able to scale with our city's growth, leading to 45-90 min response times.

Also, I don't understand what the holdup is on 911 transitioning to both calls and texts. I could simply text my location, and the situation type I am in...

I am impressed and many times inspired with the progression we are seeing in AI, but I don't think that there is much to worry about in the form of a "Hollywood" robot take over... I do think that the potential danger is increasing equally with the growth and development of the IOT, and the ability to manufacture home-made drones.

I don't know if James Altucher is the originator of that thought line, but he mentions it in his book Choose Yourself. It's been such a long time since I read it. The 7 min workout definitely will not make you look like a cross-fit junkie, but who really needs to be that fit? For someone who doesn't work out at all, and sits in front of a screen for 8 hrs a day, 7 min a day is likely to add a few years to your life.
