I recently discovered the printed codes aren't particularly reliable and google will still ask for another authentication method. I managed to get into my account by driving to a wifi google recognized as "home" and being connected to that after the codes weren't enough. I too assumed they were some sort of master key but they're just an extra method and google's security blackbox can decide its not enough.
The problem with psychedelics is they only make you "more" of what you are. It's the spotlighting effect multiplied. Especially when "bad" people take them they just become even more of an asshole, or dare I say when stupid people take them they just revel in the intoxication.
You just have to read the old research literature on LSD like stuff from James Fadiman to understand that these are extremely dangerous substances that can cause trauma and other serious psychological problems if not used extremely specifically and carefully. If a subject is carefully prepared and trained in the weeks leading up to a trip, then carefully guided through by a psychologist in a 3 day process, then psychedelics have been proven in studies to be used to solve problems effectively. This isn't something you can do on your own.
It's this bizarre problem of we've been lied to for so long about the dangers of these drugs that the actual dangers get buried and nobody talks about the very real possibility of having PTSD flashbacks for the rest of your life to a moment when you were tripping then you start tripping again and have to run for your serquel.
Despite it being an absolute dumpster fire in other ways, the new firefox android almost has that. It's nice for telling my friends who I've gotten to switch over to just open firefox, open the hamburger and tap addons then addons manager, then tap ublock origin at the top of the list and that's all it takes to get my friends rolling with it. They're all extremely happy with the new firefox and don't notice how webpages are pretty broken in it now.
There's Formula E racing, their solution was to have 2 cars and the drivers switched. An interesting company to look at is Lucid Motors they provide a battery pack that lasts all race now.
I started using public transit in Denver for about 3-4 years then got infected by bedbugs 3 times from it. Stopped using it and I've been fine since. I'm willing to pay pretty much anything to avoid public transit especially now there's something worse than bedbugs going around.
I currently work with a lot of residential construction and repair.
I feel like truss factories could use some help with quality control with machine vision probably. A problem is trusses are built by alcoholic meth heads making minimum wage rather than carpenters on site to save time and money, but then the truss factory has to send out an engineer to fix it on site, usually missing or wrong gang nails or its just out of alignment.
Temp laborers could probably use some software to help with tracking hours etc. Typically all the hours are tracked with just the supervisor writing down on a carbon copy how long they worked and gives it to the laborers to take back to their office which is then manually input to the billing system to pay the laborers at the end of the day.
Keep in mind there's a much larger population of non-smartphone users that only use flipphones in construction especially day labor so any sort of app meant for the workers or laborers to use would just go unused.
Except the diamonds discussed in the article are from Botswana, where the article states "the firm paid the Botswanan government eighty-five million dollars in taxes, and nearly thirty million in royalties, on profits of about a hundred and eighty-five million."
Seems pretty good deal for the Botswanans.

From what I understand the flight computers can tell the pilots something is wrong and/or the pilot and co-pilot can have their instruments from different sensors like airspeed so they can compare and figure out which one is right.
There's already 2 computers, they just don't error check with each other. It's one of the core issues that caused the crashes.
