RAM can be placed in the stack, eliminating slow trips accross the frontside bus. The only remaining bottleneck should be hdd access.

Looks pretty spiffy. Is there any list of public rooms somewhere? One of the things I liked about turntable was that I could pick through a wide selection and gate crash the ones that sounded interesting.

If you run it against a public site, that may be what happens. However it's intended for stressing your own sites in a test environment, in which case you have full control over the config. Setting up your test environment to block your stress tester as a DoS offender would just be silly.

any reasonably complete unicode font should already include many of those glyphs. for the glyphs that aren't in the unicode standard, there are private use areas that could accommodate them.
