People ahould really stop treating Kodak like they were just a film company. I knew someone who worked for Kodak as a software engineer right before they started having financial problems. They had a massive patent portfolio of imaging technology and image detection algorithms that is being used by google and microsoft right now. Some of the portfolio was so advanced that there was a bidding war between microsoft and google for the entire portfolio. We couldn't figure out what the bidding war was about until a few of our friends saw what was in the patent portfolio from the 1960s. I can't say what was in the portfolio but if they had to recreate what Kodak built in 1965 it would take half of Google a decade to get close. I'm not even remotely exaggerating. Kodak burned out a lot of people proving out their portfolio.

I'm from a family that has been in real estate since the 80s. Lead remediation was a mandatory requirement in the late 70s. There is almost no lead anywhere in the country except for cities where there were old industrial manufacturing plants or places where there was illegal dumping of materials.

You literally can't sell a home or purchase a home with lead issues because no one will purchase the property. There are exceptions where people are gaming the system by controlling the property and town inspection departments but largely lead paint poisoning is an old problem that was solved a long time ago.

The only reason children would have a drastic decreae in IQ is going to be a combination of Television and internet usage at extremely young ages which has deleterious affects on will-power, attentional focus, judgement, memory and visuo-spatial analysis. The lead argument really needs to go away it keeps popping up and it is literally impossible in most of the country.

This is complete garbage, they were forced to do this years before the Trump election to keep people from abusing ad networks. They were all being abused to screw with the electoral process in the United States and abroad. President Obama even asked Russia repeatedly to stop meddling in the electoral process. Hint, the russians were abusing online advertising primarily. The entire Clinton email fiasco was just a way to draw attention someplace other than ad networks.

There is no mind control program. It's just bahavioral biology, psychology and advertising. Calling it mind control is like saying I can control a person because I can get them to show up to a certain grocery store if I give them a coupon.

The internet is completely controlled server side and has been for over a decade. There isn't a single site or platform that isn't compromised in one form or another.

I wasn't aware that was done for all CEOs. You still have to consider the idea that many CEOs have to deal with an array of problems in their personal lives that other people don't have to deal with. I mention that with the caveat that the level of problems other people bring to their personal lives in order to create distractions is cultural.

Those positions don't work the way people think they do. Some CEOs have to spend obscene amounts of money defending themselves from frivolous lawsuits and people constantly screwing around with their lives. You should be looking to see how much the CEO is actually keeping, not how much they are making.

Its easy to understand why people believe in the whole mind control thing. It's just advertising and sometimes its people running "Debility, Dependency and Dread" on other people to re-train them without having an understanding of what "Debility, Dependency and Dread" really is. For some reason people have a difficult time making the logical leap that humans are mammals. Everyone wants to believe that we are better than all other mammals in a way that none of that is possible.

There is no such thing as a conspiracy theory. Every conspiracy theory in existence can be explained in terms of math, technology, physics, psychology and behavioral biology. They are conspiracy theories because the average person refuses to believe basic science that was discoveres i the early 1900s.

It's 2020 and if you use science and technology from the early to mid 1900s in the right way people get confused and they believe there is some strange conspiracy.

Here is an example, I can get people to do things with online advertising. If I get people to do the right combination of things with the right combination of advertising it looks like magic to people who don't know about advertising, psychology and neuroscience.

No, most of these businesses are illegal in many states. They typically operate as "secret shoppers", advertising, modeling or acting troops. They make up reasons to be at certain places, there is nothjng pranoid about it. This has been around since I was a child we just have more accurate information now (my parents did this for a living). Most of the people involved in this sort of business dont even know what they are there for.

I don't have a problem with this. Most ppl don't know this but there are ppl who make a living harassing other ppl in malls or abusing associative learning to give ppl positive or negative feelings about where they are shopping. They use actual "models" if you want to call it that to influence your decision making everywhere you go. It's actually highly targeted and dangerously accurate.

Not at all. More like, pretend to be a woman in a sock puppet account and eventually let them know there is a discount on clothing at XYZ department store. Then they just show up at the location.

You're never going to see the government walking in the door modifying source code. Those are tales they tell ppl. They are going to just blackmail someone or make some poor kid believe he/she can be a hacker by slipping backdoors into the software.

This is how it works in reality. People take over parts of your company and do everything to make employees feel bad about the company. They then do everything to make your employees feel good about something/anything else to keep them distracted.

You start seeing really strange things like a severly overweight coworker suddenly having a trophy gf who starts talking poorly about everyone. People suddenly start becoming lazy out of nowhere because someone outside of the company has made them believe they are guaranteed millionaires when they haven't even IPO'd. People who used to be focused on their jobs suddenly start slending money wildly on ridiculous garbage.

While everyone is distracted in different ways people who had nothing to do with the success of the company silently takeover key parts of the company and start firing people that figure out what is happening.

Surprisingly, they were real women that fell for sock puppet accounts.

Keeping track of communication channels. It is what governments and private security firms do all the time. No one wants to have to keep track of the activities of another social networking platform and figure out how to compromise it. They also have to keep track of anyone else who has compromised the platform.

Just a further note, the entire internet is comrpomised in one way or another. The worst offenders are linkedin, amazon and facebook. The US govt and various organizations have the complete ability to monitor any account, control what shows up on the user interfaces and replace the content however they please. A ton of people arent even aware their accounts are being used to control their behavior via reinforcement learning. Its just advertising but when people use it effectively it is a destructive tool.

Pay close attention to social media companies and privately run social networks and forums. I used to work for a major social media network that was growing and eventually stalled.

If you run a social network and it gets popular you're going to run into major problems that no one talks about.

1.) Multiple governments, private organization and luddites send people to your company to compromise the source code.

2.) People eventually find out they can use the social network as a covert advertising platform. They end up trying to make side money using the platform to slip ad campaigns as normal human interactions.

3.) Eventually someone figures out they can control the behavior of people on the social media platform in strange ways. One guy figured out he could create sock puppet accounts and automate the process of bringing women he liked everywhere he went. Don't do this!!! If you start slipping covert advertising in the platform and you get caught you're eventually going to run into organized crime, the govt or both.

4.) And my favorite, people start offering your best employees obscsene amounts of money to try and stop you from starting another social network.

They could just spin profitable portions of Google into different companies and invest in them. This is useless.

Every single social network is backdoored by multiple governments.

Forced in-app purchases are just a vector for governments to figure out who is using protonmail and how. They are better off avoiding apple as a platform if they don't understand why in app purchases are a bad idea given protonmail's business model.

Now they just need to dismantle the global array of advertising networks and they would have accomplished something.

Google's value is in its data. Short of encrypting every thing and handing their users the key there isn't much they can do.

They aren't going to encrypt everything and they have to comply with the law so why is this surprising?

I know everyone loves the idea of self-driving cars but the reality of self-driving cars is really ugly. We need repetitions driving vehicles in order to operate them effectively. If you don't have enough repetitions driving a vehicle when something goes wrong you're not going to be able to operate the vehicle at all.

Furthermore, I'm skeptical that driverless vehicles can factor in all the ways in which someone might maliciously cause accidents or damage to these vehicles. I want to see what happens when someone figures out how to provide false input to the sensors on the vehicle.

Viral effects are advertising with low/no staying power because people lose interest and move on to another bright shiny new thing. Network effects have staying power because people in a network tend to all have similar interests.

$1500 a day?!?! They are getting ripped off. I had a family member that worked for a large Fortune 500 company tech company. He got to take a look at the invoice for consulting on a project They pay consultants $1500 an HOUR for anything from QA to software engineering.

I had another family member who worked in a big 4 accounting firm. These companies regularly pay in excess of $800 an hour for the most ridiculous consulting. $1500 a day for two people is robbery in the world of consulting.
