My wife came across the Jean Pain compost water heater recently, and I've been really intrigued by the idea. I haven't found a great compact design though, and most of the information I see online treats it more like a fun project than something that could be iterated on and refined. Would love to find somewhere to trade ideas on this and potentially replace some or all of gas water heater.

I helped build the e-commerce site for Tilmor[0] when they were starting up. They build easily repairable mechanical farming equipment for small to medium sized farms with an emphasis on organic farming. It's a really interesting niche that I think will continue to grow. I'm 6 years out from working for them and still think of their products fondly.

I love this. Great work. Huge fan of digital experimentation. It's an art form I feel isn't as popular these days. I've had an idea on the backburner for a bit now of doing a digital quarterly with contributions like this. Kind of a digital experiment punk zine. Maybe it's too niche, but I feel like it could be a good time.

The crucial part of building tools with AI though is how quickly it becomes obsolete by new models. A little different than other tools.

Signal works on desktop nicely, but you still need the mobile app on a smart phone in order for it to work.

This hollr idea is cool. I feel like just having your own instance of this would be enough as a product.

Awesome! I'm digging this. I also like how the features are tiered. You might want to make a chart showing what features are under what tier, but it's not overly confusing.

I keep seeing this amazing story posted every 6-12 months and I keep thinking that it would be nice to have a curated list of similar sites, so I built this over the past few days.

Same here. It was frustrating to not see a fix for this in the changelog. Hopefully they fix this soon.

That Notion API is pretty slick. His example of using it for task management and dashboards is wild. May have to give that a whirl.

A couple other games I recommend:

1. Florence - A love story. The artwork is gorgeous and the soundtrack is beautiful

2. Assemble With Care - Simple puzzle game with a nice light story.

I started playing this game called "It's literally just mowing"[1] and I would say it's in this genre. I've been playing it a little bit each day and have my found my stress level goes down when I do.
