Actually I launch a wishlist-similar project for this shopping season few days agao: https://www.shoplify.us , that help people collect their products not only from amazon but from any website. it's still in early stage, and there are many features will be release later. Maybe we can do some cooperation if you think it's cool :)
Great post and I'm totally agree. Once I got a idea, i do it quick and release it earlier, that's cool than just talking. but i usually lost after I release my first version of my project. I don't know how to promote my product, how to raise traffic and how to let people know my product, that makes me really confuse. I think marketing knowledge is also very important for engineer
You're right, see my above comment, we'll improve and let user try our product first and then ask them sign up. Basically this is a global wish list, and you can organize something you want buy online in here, currently. later, we'll help you tracking the price of products you added and give you some recommendation if we find them in lower price.
