Twitter and Reddit for some reason get a pass from Apple's App Store Guidelines on this. It seems unlikely any other app will be able to have as explicit NSFW content as those two.

They don't gravitate towards it. The algorithm inches them towards that. It starts with exercise videos and healthy eating, which is fine, but eventually goes towards eating-disorder content. Similar for boys.

If they're competing against Chromebooks, they're maybe better actually.

There's a downside to making it easy to report content. You just end up with a bunch of useless reports.

They do its the New Product Experimentation team. They've made a dozen+ apps and none of them have been successful. It's just not in their DNA to come up with interesting products at this point.
