Good to see that the concept which was first presented to me in an ACT problem is finally becoming a reality. It would have been nice to have heard about this before taking a timed test. Much too fascinating and time consuming.
What people don't always understand is outside of the tech world, there are people who still think computer upgrades are unnecessary expenditures. It's true that the theoretical lifetime of a computer is probably something like 50 years, minus the hard drive replacement and the power supply which will generally go bad much quicker.
The more difficult thing is in a field like aeronautics any minor changes have the possibility of generating catastrophic events. In these situations, the cost of replacement, and testing, and phasing stuff in is enormously high and the risk is obscene when change needs to be made.
This is a very easy form of attack in security circles.

This. I can't believe how arrogant the community is, especially against first time posters. 9/10's of the time, you will get some part of their policy wrong prior to posting. Today I learned that tencent is worth more than fiftycent.
It's not just "does it work?" but "what kind of customers are you getting?". Twitter seems more productive to me than any part of facebook, which seems to desire to ravenously consume one's life. It's only a slightly less consuming task than some online games (MMORPG).
You're purchasing time from people that are busy, and productive, and have a life that on the whole it not completely virtualized. Compare that with Facebook and MMPORGs of sorts, and there are some highly successful virtual people who live real lives in mobile homes and shitty apartment complexes. Not to say their overall quality of life is bad, but maybe their balance is off kilter some.

Microsoft is not driven by stupid people. I would expect that system update packets to home base would possess information that would be useful to MS researchers, among other things. Even if it's not there, MS should be experts in steganography. They don't have to leave you clues what they use.
