And don’t get me started on the remote hands fees. You thought DigitalRealty was bad!

Arista 710P for instance. I don’t see what port count has to do with it, it runs the same OS and has the same capabilities as all their other switches. Cisco has a Catalyst 9k like this too.

Do you mean like most vendors have moved onto faster port speeds? Mostly you can still use the slower 10G optics and the ports will clock down even if the nominal port speed is higher.

That method just doesn't work in Manhattan, where due to buildings, you're lucky if your GPS is working, much less the compass to tell you which direction to face.

What is the connection? You don't always have to buy the latest of anything, certainly not the latest Light Phone. And as I'm sure you read, "We have no plans to stop producing or supporting the Light Phone II."

Perhaps for the same reason we only stopped caring about IE 6 after its usage dropped below a tiny percentage.

We did? Half of the sites I find posted on HN literally only work in ONE single browser.

You are correct, but the comment didn't say "fast chargers," it said GaN.

Here is a (very cute) 35W GaN charger. This would be considered fast charging for a phone, but not for a laptop. https://sharge.com/products/shargeek-retro-35-gan-charger

It is just plain inaccurate to state that GaN is the problem, or opens up new possibilities for fast charging. All it does is make the charger smaller.

I don't come here because of the UI, I come here because of the content. If it were my site, the UI would be a little more suited to the current year.

If everyone loved it, there'd be no Hacker News mobile apps.
