you‘re not alone.

the js world is full of people coming from jquery plugin development. they‘ve been thrown into unknown waters by react, angular & co because „javascript“. but they don‘t know shit about everything that happened before their time.

it seems like they‘re very good at marketing though. i came across folks in management naming react as a solution to everything. even to design problems.

we have at least two problems now. sjw and js.

it‘s sad.

i have been told somewhere on the scary internet that the nature and architecture of a mac makes the ME dysfunctional because everything else is apple-made. custom chipsets and so on.

"The Stasi records agency said its attempt to virtually piece together the history of a surveillance state was without a precedent in the world."

ever heard of "five eyes"? shit that's going on as soon as you travel? noticed all the cameras around you at the train station of your choice?

the stasi may have been less subtle. but it's a joke.

eu tax crackdown.

just another smoke screen while "the union" is on fire to keep the sheep calm and comfy on their fucking couch. greece? nobody's talking about that anymore. britain's decision to leave in peace? they're screwing around with that. catalonia? shows you the "values" of this great europe.

votes have shown that people are greatly unhappy and the clowns in brussels have nothing better to do than to pretend a few corporate bucks will benefit the people.

please don't focus only on technical details. digital currencies, btc in particular, are breaking the bank's monopoly of creating money. that's the real revolution. states and banks get into the topic of such technologies not because its better but because they see what may happen and they want to control the outcome.

there's high potential for people gaining freedom from the west's monetary system. but i'm very pessimistic about us getting this right and not loose "control" to state and corporate powers exactly like we did with the internet.

iPhone X 9 years ago

remember, on the back there's a giant bump for the camera as well...

so i have been sort of monitoring this equifax thing. yesterday or the day before i was thinking "let's see what the aftermath brings to light"...

let's reflect for a moment: biggest leak of personal data of us citizens - right after the opm debacle. the same company funds strategies detriment to its customers.

i bet everybody feels like it can't get any worse.

i'm not very old, limited experience but i will predict, brace yourselves, this will go on and on. _nothing_ will change because people don't fucking care and the minority who does care does not have the electorial power it needs to change this system.

i'm waiting for the same thing to happen in germany. it's even worse here because virtually only one company has the monopoly over private credit ratings. everybody is annoyed and _nobody_ cares. we have major elections this month and all those sheep will vote safe.

this is going to be fun. good luck over there, friends.

i feel you, mate. even more troubling for me is that ppl, including snowden, believe he changed things. well, more ppl use encryption. but the vast majority doesnt even know. ppl are still too stupid to grasp the concept of privacy and freedom. its just some pretty words. like "i want my children to have better future" and off they go posting pictures of them on facebook.

makes me remeber my first steps with suse's yast. many, many years ago. those were the days when i wasn't afraid or too lazy "reverse-engineering" stuff and learn.

also, one friend once always used the password "susel". no joke.

i'm interested in your setup. are you using macos or another bsd? what kind of ap's do you use? what does your mesh look like? special antennas? thank you.
