I hate all of this

Yeah it would be cool to have a proper 8th season on par with the 4th one in terms of quality
Dubai
Big Head, from "Silicon Valley" the show, comes to mind
I'm curious, why? And which other brand do you buy then?
I think that you're not looking for love but for perfection.
That might be the problem, you can't find perfection.
Did your phone connected to his wifi?
If so, that's very likely the reason for this.
Too bad you need external tools anda lot of boilerplate that you must remember to enforce to achieve this, because it's an after thought and not a language feature.
And there's 7-8 different annotations to mark nullability, all slightly different in some detail.
It's a bloody and messy hell.
Sure, they're encrypted with a key that they have.
They have complete access to the data.

I dropped all the social media except for Twitter, just because I use it really rarely (less than once per day)
Changes in WhatsApp’s privacy policy had directed users to use Telegram.
This is quite ironic. Telegram managed to sell itself as a more private Whatsapp while in reality it is WAY worse in this area.
Amazing and sad.
As an Italian, I say that the top reason is not schooling or scarce attitude, it's humiliating salaries.
You work hours and hours and get peanuts for your efforts. While your employer buys the 5th Porsche.
I come from one of the richest regions, yet as an IT professional I felt appreciated only when I started working abroad. No matter how much I tried, most job offers in Italy are ridiculous.
I've put in countless hours of work every day (70-90 hrs), being on-call almost 24/7, sometimes for straight 7 days for months despite only getting paid on a salary basis on 40 hr work weeks; being a loner helps with working long hours.
Many of your feelings come from here. You need a healthier work -life balance, where you may allocate some time for other things other than the rat race.
You're a person, before than a coder. Your work shouldn't be your sole source of self-esteem and content, in your life.
My opinion is that the demand for small phones will be satisfied by foldable phones.
I see that option more viable and effective.
Or to get big LOI
Ah, that penalty is easily dismissible by pressing F13
Are results good?
I was reading these tweets today confirming that this is already happening in Mastodon: https://twitter.com/Gravecat/status/1518598015396818944
well, that's a Pyrrhic victory. Still a victory, true.
True and agreeable, but I think more and more people are realizing and fighting this.
It's a bit like with climate change. We're not going to like what we need to do to stop it, but we must do it.
I totally agree. Overall the quality just dropped dramatically and what made Netflix great is disappearing.
IMHO it's mostly about high prices in exchange of mediocre content. With all the competition, the quantity of available shows is now higher but the average quality is lower. Personally I often think to drop Netflix as well, there's really little that I feel like watching in it.
I think many just pirate those show they are interested in or subscribe just 2-3 months a year to binge watch.
From time to time I try Mastodon again and every time I ditch it. I joined the main server mastodon.social and still as of today it's pretty much impossible for me to perform effective searches and find content. Maybe I'm just unable to use it, I don't know.
Fedora and Ubuntu are quite turnkey ready, for what I recall.
I like how capitalism can boost innovative ideas but I also hate how it's eager to burst them into flames just to jump on the next thing to make more money.
Almost every service I know quickly moves from the "it's cool" phase to the "get this other feature you don't need" phase just to get a 0.6% extra of growth.
So many great services are now packed with ads and useless features that just make the experience worse and filled with annoying bells and whistles.
YouTube and Reddit are just two examples, they're increasingly more annoying to use and if there were decent alternatives in terms of content I'd jump to them in a blink. Instead, for now, I just pretty much stopped using Reddit and go to YouTube only when I truly need, for how much I despise the quantity of ads and smoke they throw at you.
NordVPN is pretty hard to cancel as well
We should definitely trust the word of people who installed mines in the evacuation route out of Mariupol.
Nobody can tell if this is fake or not, surely the "reports" part sounds very familiar to anybody who worked in big corporations filled with yes men and people willing to please their superiors to make a career.
This part sounds plausible, given how Russia is structured.
I have faith in the third way: somebody takes down Putin, Russia goes into chaos, Ukraine Gottes back free and Russia breaks into even more sub states.
It's sad because obviously banning E2EE will make pretty much zero difference in keeping children safe.
Pedofiles and abusers will just install E2EE apps manually or use one of the zillion systems to send E2EE messages.
As an example, banning movie piracy had zero effect in stopping emule, torrents and illegal streaming.
