True. RSS gives control over what and how we consume information. The curated newsfeed is prone to gaming and misuse. In fact, we should be able to select feeds, curation engines and reader apps. This way it would be less of a "platform" and more of "www".

This is true in my case. I quit Facebook (and WhatsApp) and life became a bit better.

Marketing or not, I got the game and played in one sitting. Initially I did not realize how it was getting solved. Soon the creator’s puzzle techniques started becoming evident (repetitive) and then it was enjoyable. Became easier though.

Chrome user from the early days of Chrome. I tried switching to Firefox/Safari multiple times. It was Chrome Devtools which was holding me back in the end. Now I use Safari for most of the browsing. Getting started with Firefox for everything else. I miss the floating bookmarks in Chrome though.

I've always felt that React is a constantly churning ecosystem. The patterns keep changing too fast for me to settle down or catch up. That way Vue.js has done an amazing job. Sort of reminded me of Rails. Today I'm happy with Vue.js for my small to medium applications. Keeps things simple and beautiful.

I stopped getting answers in SO. These days I see that the answer could be there in SO, Github, Gists, blogs and Google is the first place I go to. A few years back, I could go to SO for practically anything to do with coding. And I was doing Ruby and Rails.
