I think all the new Dodge models (even base trim) have keyless these days as well. Hopefully it it catches on for all makes, it's a pretty nice feature.

also, don't they have marketing teams that might want to protect an image they work so hard to build.

Lots of us say no to supporting IE6 whenever we can, the problem is the person paying our salaries says we will.

But regardless of that, the sad truth is that developers aren't the ones preventing a full scale cutoff of IE6, it's our users. If the people you are making things for use IE6 then you have to support them.

it's probably also worth noting that every time there are new apple tv rumors they're about it including its own app store - if that ever happens it will be very interesting to see what people go for.

Even though I agree - this would be VERY helpful in a situation where a manager doesn't understand that it's ok for a site to look different between browsers.

I've had times where I've explained how a site will look different in older browsers, had that approved and build the site, but when it was time to look at the final product one person cant understand/accept that buttons "don't look 3D" in their browser of choice.

according to the siracusa review, lion works more like iOS, in that the OS can reclaim resources from 'open' apps, and sometimes leaves processes open for a short time after they are closed. I think this is what was meant about not quitting apps, the concept is still there, but not really needed like it was previously.

some UI stuff could benefit from this: things like turning a list into an accordion. (Normally there is at least a little work to be done to ensure you don't get a flash of unstyled/unscripted content, if this fires fast enough you could avoid that)

that's the benefit of being able to quickly (and silently) unfollow someone. Personally, I use a "3 tweets in a row that are annoying = unfollow" rule. It works well for me. And anyways, you'll often be surprised at how someone you respect professionally can be ver entertaining in their personal life.
