I encountered this as well. The support rep's workaround was to change my Ecobill address back to my Comcast address. I then enabled forwarding from that address and it works fine. Such a pain.

Hmm, I'm not able to reproduce that. Did you happen to paste anything in? Currently the contenteditable div gets a little jumbled when you paste in anything that isn't plaintext.

Note that Gmail includes a setting to switch the icons back to text labels (Settings --> General --> Button Labels).

As a Colemak user, I would suggest remapping Caps Lock to backspace instead of Ctrl.
I hackintosh'd my x220 to the latest Mountain Lion. My only real problem was getting sleep functionality to work, but I didn't really see others with my problem and didn't post asking for help. I had to buy an alternative wireless card (Dell 1515) for $10 off ebay, as the included chip doesn't have OSX drivers. It probably would have been fine for at least a couple months if I had spent more time fixing the sleep issue. Except for that, it worked great, and it wasn't difficult to add drivers or processor power management stuff.
I switched to dual-booting Ubuntu and Windows 7, but will either switch back or buy an Air in the future.
I wrote this for my own use, since I send lots of short emails to a few certain people. But I hope you find it convenient, too.
I have a Lenovo x220 (matte, 12" IPS) and two Dell 2311h's (matte, 23" IPS's, can rotate to portrait) - I don't have any complaints, and I don't think I'll ever buy a TN display in the future. I'm not sure what the sparkle effect is; it seems like something that that particular guy is more sensitive to.

The x230 or X1 Carbon are great. I have an x220 and recently put OSX on it. I got mine off a forum, though, so I can't say how well the online ordering process works.
Is that the same as marking things "Not Spam"? As in, does it lower the quality of Gmail's spam filter?

There appears to be a number of chrome extensions that support gestures, so perhaps you can find or configure one that works similarly ("Pig Toolbox," for example). Or learn the Gmail keyboard shortcuts.
