For people who are downvoting: it's a meme you probably don't recognize. Do a Google Image Search for the phrase :D

This kills the crab.
This is precisely why old people shouldn't be anywhere near tech.
It's shit like this that makes me trust bitcoin. Down with fiat.
This comes about because nerds are cowards by default. We're entirely too unwilling to really bother to get the message about this sort of thing out to the layperson, and we're even more unmotivated to actually do something about it. I love to lambast the baby boomers as much as the next neckbeard, but at least some of them actually had the chutzpah to do something.
23 From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some boys came out of the town and jeered at him. “Get out of here, baldy!” they said. “Get out of here, baldy!” 24 He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the Lord. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys.
That's not how it works, bigot
lol, who would want to write jquery for a living?
just like they did to Manning for what he revealed.
She, not he

What about a three-laser system?
The bigger problem with this movie is all the male gaze and gross gender roles, not the slightly inaccurate physics.
That was a great use of casual bigotry. 5/5 would scoff at again.
Interesting. I had never heard this quote.
God is real.
It looks like the lines bend the wrong way. I would expect everything to bend down when I scroll up, but it does the opposite. Very strange.
Just so you know "gipped" is a bigoted remark that's based on the word "gypsy".
+1 for the xkcd ref ;)
Another thing to take away from this article: people with kids have less time to spend doing their jobs.
Anyway, for my money, it's the Libertarian Party that represents the path forward
Time to shave your neckbeard.
oh gawd, reddit is leaking...
I actually think you might have the logic flipped here. The only thing that has a real chance of making a lasting impression on the world is science and engineering. Fulfilling your roles as a social person is highly ephemeral.
I don't understand the strong insistence on having children that so many people have. Can anyone explain why this is such a big deal?
I like this. It's interesting that a viable solution to the Craigslist third party problem is to just make everybody scrape Craigslist. From a purely technical standpoint, that seems rather unfortunate, but I'd rather have a local scraper + Padmapper UI than have no Padmapper at all.
I would argue that passing insecure systems off as secure, like what we saw with Tesco today, would count as unethical. That's a case where you can cut corners and nobody might notice for a while, and the system in question seemingly works.
This article might have a good point, but it's hard to find it amongst all the "my friends and I are really cool and awesome people" speak.
Does this article, coupled with the fact that the author submitted it himself, strike anyone else as terribly vain?
