Is there any good template/library for modern multiplayer netcode for Unreal or Unity or anything else, or is it truly everybody rolls their own as the secret sauce in their AAA games?
"It’s not bad at all!! We have 6 separate central a/c units and 8 separate central heating units. We can pick & choose what parts of the building to heat/cool and to varying temperatures. Our highest gas bill this past winter was $330 and that included almost an entire month of subzero temperatures. The building is incredibly well insulated."
I so wish Apple had not removed the older Sierra installer from the Mac AppStore... I need to update some machines but High Sierra does not seem ready for reliable use yet.
What if there was a spec that web browsers could submit small amounts of mining work as a micropayment system for web content? (amount determined by content provider per-page or per-session or some other better granularity, only sent if user approves)
Browsers could pre-mine/cache some amount of work so that page load times would be relatively unaffected.
Browsers could ask about payment similar to pages requesting location (yes/no/always/never) so future payments are automatically applied or denied.
I had this happen to me a while back and came up with a fairly simple possible explanation/implementation. Facebook could look at the time and geo stamps in uploaded photos to determine who was in the same place at the same time, and offer those people up as potential friends to add.
(edit) To clarify, my Dad still has one, and with all the VHS decks and monitors and mixers and such it's kinda like a mainframe and takes up a huge amount of space. But could be fun for the right, uh, museum? :-)
Not a company page, a company entity as part of the facebook audience network, in order to get paid. It's on app details for the app you're trying to get into FAN.
What kind of a box do you really need for that, though? The requirements seem to say 4G of RAM, which seems to demand a big VPS or a dedicated box... (would be $40/month for a 4G RAM VPS at digital ocean or Linode)
Quote at the end of that article contradicts your statement...?
"Current medical opinion is that the benefits of fasting are unproven and until there are more human studies it's better to eat at least 2000 calories a day. "
Anybody know why NameCheap is getting hit with lots of DDOS lately?
Unfortunately I didn't realize this when I just started moving my domains there, as I can't even log in due to two factor auth from namecheap not working, possibly as a side effect from the DDOS...
CasperJS is an open source navigation scripting & testing utility written in Javascript for the PhantomJS WebKit headless browser and SlimerJS (Gecko). It eases the process of defining a full navigation scenario and provides useful high-level functions, methods & syntactic sugar for doing common tasks such as:
defining & ordering browsing navigation steps
filling & submitting forms
clicking & following links
capturing screenshots of a page (or part of it)
testing remote DOM
logging events
downloading resources, including binary ones
writing functional test suites, saving results as JUnit XML
scraping Web contents
I got rejected, but I _do_ show ads. My guess is Apple is targeting particular SDKs/libraries, and so that even apps that are showing ads are getting flagged. Not sure what the resolution is going to be - still waiting on an Apple response.
I've got a whole bunch of libs included, several of which use AdSupport. Arg.
