100% agreed, which is why I was pretty surprised to read that in the article but we'll see if that's actually the intended understanding of this proposal.

For reference, here is the excerpt: "Beyond cutting the tax rate to 15 percent for large corporations, which now pay a rate of 35 percent, Mr. Trump also wants that rate for a broad range of firms known as pass-through entities — including hedge funds, real estate concerns like Mr. Trump’s and large partnerships — that currently pay taxes at individual rates, which top off at 39.6 percent."

Their specific mention of pass-through entities might mean that literally but it might have just been a more succinct way to group LLCs, LPs, and PLLPs.

We had similar issues when I was at iHeartRadio. We got reports from a number of users that were getting a lot of playback issues. Once we saw that the users were all in a relatively small area in the southeastern US, it took a few days of dealing with local ISPs to sort out the issue: all requests on a certain local ISP were being rewritten and certain headers were getting removed altogether.

The future seems likely to involve a fleet of autonomous vehicles that we use on-demand -- why not own and operate the fleet? Not to mention owning the technology powering the autonomous cars.

Do you use the mobile web version? I did exactly that when using the web version on iOS (chrome specifically). Scrolling down the page ended up with me accidentally hitting like on a number of various posts the feed.

In NYC, they like to use A1 International. I'm literally 0/2 with them, as neither package handled by A1I ever arrived.

Nice to see more detailed stats on this stuff. One figure I'd really like to see is the number of companies worth more than $10M & $50M.

Instacart delivers groceries that you buy through the app/web.

This is a service where couriers equipped with the dishes of the day ride around and deliver the pre-packed meals you order.

Forum post from Dan Kaminsky, co-founder of WhiteOps[1][2]:

"Dan Kaminsky here, my apologies for kicking up a ruckus. This is part of a bot detection framework I've built at White Ops; we basically are able to detect browser automation using resources exposed in JavaScript. Nothing dangerous to users -- or we'd go file bugs on it, which we do from time to time -- but it does provide useful data regarding post-exploitation behavior. Happy to jump on a call with anyone concerned or worried; I'm over at dan@whiteops.com."
