The effects in Captain America were terrible - joking! The thing is, AI is plastered everywhere these days on platforms (that were already deteriorating before AI, lets be honest). A lot of people don't want to be bombed with fake content.

Cool stuff, only feedback I have is that it could be a bit clearer on the homepage what your product does - I only found out when playing around (I didn't read your post before trying). Maybe make it clear what it does before letting people play with it so have the test box in a 2 column layout or perhaps later on down the page? I didn't expect there was any other content/scroll on the homepage when I first landed on it.

I use to keep homing pigeons as a kid and participate in racing, it use to be quite popular in The Netherlands and Belgium, the area where I live. But it's a dying hobby. The biggest race is Barcelona, 1000 km or 600 miles, which birds can fly in 10 hours.
I recently built a coop and finally have a few pigeons again after not having them for almost 20 years. They are intelligent animals that are fun to keep and bring me peace having them around me.
I'd be pissed off if I were an Outlook user - it's a shame that big tech get treated as the "gold standard" - I get that spam prevention is important but it shouldn't hurt your business. Their support is below standards. I wonder how many opportunities Outlook businesses lose because they don't receive certain emails.
That being said, email as a whole could do with being replaced with a more robust solution to make it more versatile and offer other spam prevention techniques.
I think because it just worked better than the alternatives. I remember working with subversion when I started at my first job. They switched to git a year later. This was a company mainly specializing in Java and doing development on Windows.
Pigeon keeping, well, I use to keep them as a kid. Found an injured wood pigeon, broken wing, an old woman next door had a few lofts at her farm that use to belong to her husband - I was allowed to keep it there and managed to splint the wing, after it healed I let it back into the wild. An avid pigeon racer who use to visit her noticed my interest and gave me my first racing pigeons. I started racing them, earned some okay results for a kid my age. Switched to my focus to fancy pigeons later on, mainly tumbler breeds. I stopped keeping them when I moved out of my parents house. Missed them ever since as they brought me a kind of peace. I loved having them around me.
I recently bought a house with a nice garden and I’m in the process of starting again. Fancy pigeons, 2 specific breeds. Planning the loft build as we speak.
Besides that, I love woodworking - which I learned from the same pigeon guy who owned a woodworking company.
Good job on standing up for yourself! Your manager is a dick. I think quitting is the opposite of lack of courage to be honest. Staying there would be doing them a favor and not yourself.
Just a thought that I have, wouldn’t it be better to block all robots and only to whitelist a select few? More AI bots are scraping now and in the future…
I was listening to an audiobook the other day on a commute that was also done with AI. The main issue I had was focus, the voice was very monotone to begin with, and at one point it pronounced “it” as “IT”. I didn’t finish listening… That said, the voice isn’t that bad in the HN example.
