Speed difference of M1 (native) vs Intel (I have an i7 Mac mini and M1 Mac mini): It is snappier and more responsive than ever before, but that's to be expected since the M1 single-core performance is so much better. It feels like a breath of fresh air!

Speed difference of Rosetta vs native: It was unusable for me on Rosetta. Super delayed responses for everything, and used a lot of memory. I temporarily switched to the Exploration version of VS Code while I waited for Jetbrains to update. :)

Just getting rid of DST would solve a lot of what this is trying to accomplish.

I was confused by this initially too. I think it's just "token" that throws me off. I know what a gateway is, so maybe just saying "25 Gateways" or "$10/Gateway" instead of "gateway token" might be better? Just my initial thought.

I bought v1 with the hope that a merge tool would be added. Looking back, I can't remember if that was just something I had in my head or something that was mentioned somewhere or maybe they just mentioned something like they were "working on it".

Kind of disappointed that I have to spend more money to get that… and there's no upgrade path for people who bought v1.

This is not a matter of PayPal blocking anyone in Iran from buying specific services in order to help the Iranian government. This is your account being accessed from a new and well known scammer hotpot successfully, and PayPal attempting to stop any damage that might be taking place. (you kind of state this)

I run and have helped run many ecommerce stores, and the middle east and nigeria are the two places where all the attempted scams are from… and they use PayPal to do it. I've accessed PayPal from another country and had similar things happen, and a phone call or two fixed things up quickly.

I completely understand it sucks that your account is blocked; but _call_ customer service, and if you have any real history with PayPal, tell them that. "I've been a great customer for X years and have moved $XXXXX through PayPal over that time. I need your help please." Don't count on emails to help… scammers use emails too.

I found this week the true extent of how terrible the new iOS Maps is, when I needed to find a hospital. We needed to go to the ER in the middle of the night, and were stuck waiting at a particular hospital that was nearest to us.

I knew there was another, better hospital with a better reputation down the freeway (perhaps 5 miles) and wanted to call to ask what their wait time was. I searched "hospital" and the nearest one provided was 25 miles away. I knew where the one I wanted was and it was no where to be found on iOS Maps.

I also searched for "emergency clinics" in various naming forms, knowing of the ones I would try first… and again, came up empty of all the ones that I knew existed.

I now have a shortcut to Google Maps on my home screen and will only use iOS maps for turn-by-turn directions. I was very frustrated to begin with that night, and Apple disaster of a Map app didn't help.

I was really looking forward to the next release, and I'm really happy for them. But it's taken years for them to do cloud sync... and the feature I was waiting for was teams. I'm personally disappointed in how incredibly long it takes them to roll out any feature.

I like Things, it's great... but until it's collaborative, it doesn't work (for me).

I share similar sentiments. Start-ups feel more fickle as of late... perhaps just chance with Sparrow's recent buy out, etc. Unless there's a real reason to keep going for the starters (monetary or personal drive/passion), then there's no fountain to stand on.

It's disappointing! I was really looking forward to trying this out... but I never made it past the waiting list.

While I'm in complete agreement; as a PayPal user, I'd rather have my dashboard/account views actually load in a reasonable amount of time... never mind a redesign. I've redesigned client workflows (from shipping through PayPal) and changed credit processors simply because looking up a transaction (or _anything_) is like pulling teeth in PayPal. Even when using their API.

Seriously, doing a transaction search results in a "please wait" message that reads: "This may take up to 30 seconds".

Those must be expensive to hold on to. Usually .io goes for $99/year.

Was a little confused that Yahoo has their own browser... except on the desktop, where it's just a plugin to your existing browsers.
