It is a bit funny. When I started with Python ~18 years ago, the team lead on that project liked this framework "Nevow". It wad plugged into Twisted. Completely async, IIRC JS could have been built in, too. Some ideas are really not new under the sun.

Let's say a subscription costs $10. Why not charge $14.29 through app store and $10 through online registration? With both logins acceptable in the login form... If Apple users want to pay more for the privilege of paying through Apple, why not let them?

I was on my way back home in Montreal. I consider English to be my second language. I have two mother tongues - Ukrainian and Russian. And, due to living in Montreal, I had passable French. So I lost ability to speak or understand French for a few days. After I re-gained it, it became visibly worse. Also I had short term amnesia - didn't know who I was, where I lived or where I was going from/to. Luckily, most of the things came back to me within the next few hours or days.
