No offence but reading this in the silence of my workplace, it was so difficult to control my giggling and laughter reading everyline and it just kept getting funnier XD

My father actually works at the Jamnagar refinery. I was bought up in there seeing and visiting the refinery as families are allowed for some trips every now and then. I learnt a lot of this process of refining out of curiosity of what my father did and it was just so cool. The refinery in context is the world's largest since more than a decade and seeing it with your own eyes, it feels like a wonder of the world for real. Truly marvellous outcome of perseverance and engineering. Loved to see this blog on the HN homepage, its very well written

GPUs Go Brrr 2 years ago

What should I do if I want to understand such articles in complete? where to start on the roadmap?

I would love to get some feedback regarding this project I made

Issues that it targets to solve -

- Frequently changing less important passwords

- For people who do not need multi device sync, a completely offline app where data leakage is not someone else's responsibility

- biometric lock but without continuously running in background and taking up memory and battery

Another video by Alan Becker written in history

Math could not have been represented in a more interesting way. The fact that he solved and created a interdimensional portal using math felt unreal

What is this?

Use a laptop and select a small area (don't lift your finger) and while selecting move your finger to trackpad edge. Most probably you cursor will now start moving to that edge direction on it's own.

I don't know what that feature is called so let's assume it is "Trackpad Edge Cursor Speed". I have seen this feature in Windows 10+. I don't know if it is available in other OS or not.

In this repo I have tried to calculate the speed of cursor when it is moving on it's own

Confusion

Normally, the performance stays from 0-2. And speed seems somewhat accurate. But whe in TECS mode, the performance starts to fluctuate and slowly increase till 16 and then falls back to 0. And the speed is not accurate as it keeps decreasing for the same cursor speed. (probably due to this fluctuation in performance, but even after performance resets, the speed keeps decreasing)

If you have any ideas on how and why this might happen please let me know.
