I'm curious to know if you followed a specific guide, or if you had to take any extra steps to get it functioning beyond running the installer?

I run Linux, and dearly miss being able to use Fireworks. My attempts to get it running on Wine in the past (probably a year or so ago, if not more) were not successful, and I haven't been able to find anything that feels like a suitable replacement for working with vector graphics. It is a genuine (perhaps irrational) point of sadness.

I'm still bitter that they killed it off.

It can still be downloaded via the file on the repo, just not using that direct link in the description. I'm not sure how the maintainer came to determine that is the link, since I'm almost certain that never would have been the way.

I disabled consciousness, and destroyed the universe, and then attempted to destroy truth. The AI wouldn't let me, nor let me destroy it for refusing to comply, so I discussed philosophy with it until it stopped responding. I'd say I exceeded the quota that I was allowed to use- Or, maybe it just had an existential crisis.

I agree- and I'm amazed that this is the first comment on see on the story. I sat stunned, and saddened by the photo, after what first appeared to be a mere illustration. I don't know what is so impactful about the effect, but it really touched something in me.

The issue is not with what a medical professional considers an option for medical reasons. The issue, which I too find to be utterly despicable, is the non-consensual mutilation. Any other description only serves to minimize or mask what is ultimately a barbaric ritual.

With how completely avoidable this result was, with people raising flags all the way through, I feel that the only conclusion is harming citizens must have been part of the intention.

You are absolutely correct regarding their malice. The minister responsible for the implementation of the illegal scheme was former Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, who went so far as to purposefully mislead his cabinet. The former Prime Minister is despised by the general public at this point, and his will likely be recorded as the most cruel and criminal government in Australia's recent history.

A similar situation exists in Australia. It feels like we are the land of the duopoly, not at all helped by the cosy relationship between regulators, business, and government.

I'd argue that rationale was based on a very different economic evironment to what we have now, and arguing that today, a failing to know and understand the different challenges that are faced by the very people they may empart this idea to.

Reddit has been demonstrated time and time again that it is subject to, and vulnerable to, blatant manipulation and propganda. Whether it's a celebrity endoresement masquerading as an interview, threads defending corporations and/or their actions, the manufacturing of consent, the anti-democractic activities of shill accounts, or being subject to blanket disinformation, Reddit is a net-negative to society in my opinion.

I can't imagine any film that conveys a message, cinematography, style, and meaning that could be encapsulated with a simple thumbs up or thumbs down.

There are many ways to go about, but it could be easily achieved with any diagramming or graphics application. For example, LibreOffice Draw or Microsoft Visio.

Windows 10 is what finally prompted me to install a Linux OS, and I'm so glad I made the change. Additional benefits I have noticed are that my productivity has increased considerably, and I feel I am learning much more about the fundamentals of my system.

Disappointing that a sexist comment which offers no justification is still this visible.
