Django also needs to pin a default Postgres container image, and default NGINX image. The default stack should be extensively end-to end tested and optimized, including an optional patched kernel, cgroup2 settings, and untrusted nsjail worker process for handling media files.

It was in response to my motion for injunction in Apple's racketeering case for bribing the City of Waukee $100m to abate $177m. I pointed out they were spying on Judges' iOS devices and iCloud accounts - Judges don't like to be spied on.

Injunction on Apple filed today in my racketeering action CVCV043016 District Court for Dallas County Iowa on behalf of major shareholder Iowa Public Employee Retiree System. The last thing shareholders need is erosion of equity via a massive NLRA lawsuit.

He sold zero IBM System Z mainframes to AWS.

He let thousands of IBM point of sale systems to be replaced with crap that can't buffer keystrokes - instead of modernizing the SDKs for those who know Linux and not AIX.

He bought RedHat, but not Digital Ocean so they had a cloud consumers trust.

He didn't win a serious contract with Facebook for kernel tuning. He didn't win a serious contract with AWS for AWS Linux 3.

He let COBOL and APL continue to die instead of funding modern tooling.

JS minification is old hat, and welcome to shrink binaries.

Google for security reasons should probably release the source. Most security types welcome web-assembly over JS since there will be more Rust etc.

Imagine Apple partnering with telcos to do this off M2 racks then Google doing the same with Chrome split into a client and Linux container - $10/month for "Chrome Pro".

Wow. This is crazy unconstitutional. DOJ could seek civil injunction perhaps, but using criminal authority to break into servers without probable cause of any criminal action is crazy bad.

Another good reason to stop using proprietary binaries and instead compile your own source - even if you use code under proprietary copyright. Imagine if France also decided to "help" and bricked your server on accident.

Also hate them. Far better to have a dependency pulling shell script - no overhead of git yak shaving - just maintaining the URIs.

Solitary was better than getting the shit beat out of me when my ex-wife's law partner dropped by the Polk County Iowa jail on 10 March 2020 - dropped my name to a drug dealer - and was viciously attacked hours later.

Read lots of great Sci-Fi, both Niven and Game of Thrones. Lots of category theory - for "security" reasons they banned software engineering books.

Iowa is corrupt AF. https://chadbrewbaker.substack.com/p/good-trouble-in-little-...

WSL is probably easier to write for XNU than it was for Windows. Yeah, silly that Apple hasn't yet.

Pull requests that kick off arbitrary Github Actions code is crazy unsafe. By default they need a human in the loop to approve CI jobs for public repos.

The worst I have seen is the media's failure to cover that Google - and probably Microsoft too - blacklisted historic black universities for over a decade. This a juke, a pump fake - not something substantial.

Docker Raises $23M 5 years ago

To be relevant they need to fork Google Test and add cgroup eBPF expectation tests. Run integration tests with thousands of mini-instances that no-op the network stack.

Also start making pull requests for a Kubernetes killing feature in the Linux kernel - distributed cgroups and ulimits.

The tooling is stable so when you link to FORTRAN binaries the ABI tends not to bitrot. IMHO FORTRAN might get a borrow checker before C/C++ to be on parity with Rust for memory safety.

CAP theorem. CA_ is mainframe. Crazy that Azure or AWS haven't put Z15 "frames" in a region. Large network latency kills a lot of otherwise easy integrations.
