But, how do random video chats deal with this? I can click agree button even if I am under 18, nothing can stop me, and I don't go through verification process, so in theory the site can be easily abused. I know there is "Report" button usually, but is that the main way of detecting this kind of misuse behaviour for the site operators? What if nobody never clicks "Report" button even if there is illegal action happening?

To broaden the discussion, when I use Telegram or Whatsapp, I don't go through any verification process and again, anyone can show anything to anyone. Whose responsibility and liability is to detect such things and what consequences can be?

There is no sign they won't do something like what they did in the future when the situation changes. So probably it's safer to move to a different registrar you trust more.

Once you stop being or showing signs of being "anti-regime" by any means, you are at risk again.

And, using the service for business, do you really want to spend time understanding today's agenda for this or that company giving you this service?

I wanted to try some new service after using one of them for years, just to see how things can work with a different registrar. I registered a domain 2 weeks ago with Namecheap and now I cannot easily transfer it to another registrar because there is a technical limitation when you have to wait for at least 60 days after first registration before you can transfer it.

I tried to transfer and failed so I had to contact Namecheap support to get an advice how to be in the situation of the limited time I have before 22nd of March.

Last autumn I was involved in working on a similar web app [1] for WorldBank which consumed its data sources.

I think it should be more accurate as they at WorldBank collect the data from multiple sources and process it in a scientifically precise manner. You can enter country you live in, which can make a dramatic difference.

Great comment, thanks. Though it was not about narcissism. It was not my only way to get paying clients, it was just one of the ways. I also didn't say I had no paying clients. I have some and we work on a couple of projects and they pay me. Though, I am aimed to increase the income and your tips convince me once again that I should focus on something other, not this idea. Thanks.

I absolutely agree, thanks, Thomas. I should better take myself out of the pit first. So, I will go on thinking about how to do that in another way. I think I got a hint I searched for.

Having read all the comments I think I should shift my focus from creating such a blog to developing my personal professional brand in another way. I see now I should rethink my strategy. Thanks for all your thoughts, I really appreciate it!

Hey Patrick, Thanks for your hints. These are really useful for me. The one thing I want to note is that I am going to compete using my skills, not using my financial situation because I agree it's not interesting for my potential clients. Other than that, I agree I should be a problem solver in eyes of my clients. I am going to work more on my objectives and tools using your thesis. Thanks!

I have built a tiny web application for myself and think it can be interesting for someone else too. It's located here: http://www.infinilla.com. The app is for getting 3 random picks from Dribbble using its API. You can click Refresh link on the bottom of the page and get 3 randomly chosen images that you can use for inspiration as I do. If you want to get more info about the image you see, just click on it and you will get to the page of that image on Dribbble. I suppose this app can be interesting for somebody looking for inspiration. I am working on adding some new functionality so I will be glad to hear from you!

I am sure it was a great chance for those guys to show their competence to their potential employers. If the project had a success, they could show themselves as valuable and desired professionals in the eyes of companies looking for workers.

Hm, it loads through some web anonymizer, but doesn't open directly. May be there is something with my network? I have reviewed your site. Could you please send me a email to sergey@skible.com to discuss the project? Thanks.

I am asking about the average range to get a general picture of the market there in the USA. Having that info I will be able to estimate my level according to the market. Now I see that it's quite a low salary if it's about $80'000/year. If I work 8/12 hours per day for that money, then I get about only $30-$40 per hour. Am I right? Thanks.
