US citizens are required to report all worldwide income for taxation. Elsewhere, requirements to pay tax generally depend on residing in the country for some number of days per year.

Yes.

Would you have to reveal at the border that you are a US citizen?

At the US border, yes. If, say, you have a European passport and you're entering Europe, you present the European one.

A little off-topic, but I'm totally blind (use VoiceOver) and just tried the app on iOS. A few issues:

* Several buttons are unlabelled, so I'm not sure what they do. * Navigating through posts isn't the most efficient (I need to swipe several times to move from post to post). * The relative level of comments within a thread isn't announced (i.e. replies to OP are at level 1, replies to those replies are level 2, etc). Are these indented visually? * Accessibility actions should be added to quickly vote, reply to comments, etc.

Happy to provide additional feedback/model apps that do this well, but I'm not an iOS developer.

From the user perspective, Chrome Vox on Home Hub feels... bolted on. It uses the assistant TTS, probably over the network, so lag is extreme (a thing you don't want in your primary interface to a device), and random portions of the UI don't reliably read.

As a totally blind Home Hub user who finds Chrome Vox completely unsuitable for the platform, I'm saddened (though not surprised) that a Fuchsia screen reader never could see the light of day.

JAWS is still a thing although it is definitely declining in popularity. My email is my HN username at gmail dot com, and I'm also my HN username on lots of other social media sites.

I'm totally blind and use a screen reader. Was surprised to see this on HN as I normally see this sort of thing just in accessibility spaces on Twitter or similar! Hopefully more mainstream coverage will mean that accessibility gets on the radar of more developers.

1plus1meet was posted to a student Facebook group for my university. The use of Jitsi Meet, an open platform, seems like a great idea!

I'm totally blind, and the way it works has some very nice accessibility implications. The sound of a person's voice is, to many of us, an important factor in physical attraction. Being able to find this out almost immediately, without needing to flip through pictures and barely-accessible profiles, is huge for us – this service finally levels the playing field!

And as a totally blind person, I don't look at my phone anyway, so faceID has been a major downgrade.
