Right, I'm a heavy Obsidian user myself, and love it.
I think the value of this disclosure is more in spreading awareness about plugins, and demonstrating the vector. Where less sophisticated users may think, "Oh, this is just a collection of markdown files. I don't need to be too worried about malicious code."
Yes, when I posted it, I had done a search for the article that most clearly explained the paper and this was, on its face, the best explanatory one. To paraphrase Swift, "A poor AI analysis can travel halfway around the world while the human writers are putting on their shoes.”
I tried all the Logi alternatives for MacOS two years ago and found Steermouse the best. Has been solid through OS updates and has many great features I live by, especially chords.
My friend Andy Eskenazi just taught this class during MIT's Independent Activities Period, and here are all the materials.

Opt-Shift-Y on MacOS
X1 Search is the single Windows program I wish so badly was available on the Mac. So much that I switched from Mac back to Windows twice in the past because the functionality was so important.
I search for a word or phrase through 1000s of documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, and email archive files going back two decades. On my desktop or in a cloud service. X1 displays matches in real time, fast-as-you-type, with all the results easy to grok in one glance in list form, sorted by any field. And on the same screen, X1 renders a preview of the file/email as I click through the list. No need to open the file/email: I can read the whole document right there on the search screen. I can also copy & paste from that document. And all search terms are highlighted.
One @gmail.com account shows no email received from 2:17pm ET Dec 15 to 6:05am ET Dec 16. I normally receive ~4 emails per hour, throughout the day and night. After I realized there might be a fault, I sent myself test messages around 6pm ET on Dec 15 and Gmail bounced them with the error:

Anders is a friend. We got to try this in his yard and wanted to build one too. Followed these instructions, and just got a 125 ft one installed. Our three-year-old girl squeals with delight when she zips down it.

Almost all patent applications are published after 18 months, even if they are still unapproved, or indeed will never be approved.
The major exceptions are if the inventor files for nonpublication along with withdrawing the application (usually because they think it won't be patentable) or the US Government classifies it.
If Apple wanted to show some goodwill towards the end users who were caught up in this mess they'd continue to allow them to log in or provide a migration path.

Everything is insanely fast. Even though I have X1 Search and use that for content search (I commented on GP about that), I still use Everything for any search on filenames or directories because it opens instantly. I also love that typing slashes at the beginning or end of a phrase filters a search to a directory. It even supports Regex.
My personal pet peeve is the lack of powerful device search -- in OSX, I could use Spotlight or better yet Alfred to look inside PDFs
X1 Search [0] is lightning-fast, results-as-you-type, and searches inside every file and in all of your email and attachments. Not just what's open in your mail client but also email archive files. I have email archives back to 2000, and the lookup is still instant.
X1 is actually one of the two things that had me switch back to Windows the two times I've gone all in on a switch to Mac. (Ironically back then the motivation was Apple's hardware was much better.)
Citation was requested: Small viruses like corona viruses have a lipid (fatty) envelope, which is easily compromised. Even more so than large viruses which are non-enveloped. Which in turn are easier to compromise than bacteria [1].

"feel like it" is practically never. I haven't had anyone ask to see my physical card to compare signatures in over five years.
They organize ways for their clients to bundle significant financial contributions to politician's campaigns so that when they "talk", they can point to significant past contributions or promise future contributions. Or threaten contributions to challengers.
Although individual contributions are limited in theory, bundling allows vast contributions in practice. For example, a CEO can persuade senior execs to donate the maximum to a candidate. Or someone can host a fundraiser at their home (or wine cave) and "encourage" many acquaintances to attend. They get credit with the politician for the total raised.
Finally, Political Action Committees can take unlimited contributions from anyone so long as they don't "coordinate" with a politician's campaign. In practice they can of course be very helpful to a candidate's campaign, and lobbyists will use that to influence.
