Thanks for pointing that out! It turns out that the latest update to qBittorrent started binding to all available adapters. I just set it to only use my VPN's adapter and all seems to be fine now. Thanks again!

I also could not find their name on the map. It doesn't mean that it's not there, I just couldn't find them. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The only thing I find a VPN useful for is torrenting w/o your ISP knowing. In my case, I use Surfshark for torrenting so that Comcast can't send me any of those pesky letters.

I took music lessons, did Cub Scouts Weeblos & Boy Scouts, played little league, played Pop Warner & high school football and ran track. All after school activities.

As for freedom.. I took SF MUNI, BART, Ferries and Golden Gate Transit starting at 7 year old. Any free time I had was spent playing with friends. And I had to be home by the time the street lights came on.

So it is possible to have a lot of after school activities and plenty of time to play with friends and explore the world.

I took SF MUNI to & from school in second grade. I took GG Transit to the city from 9-14 y/o and then MUNI when I got there. I also took the ferries and BART fairly regularly as well. All by myself.

As someone who lives along a very busy thoroughfare in San Francisco (where there are a lot of Porches & other supercars) I can say that they are the quietest of all the gas powered supercars.

I'm not sure but if you look at maps of both floods it seems that weather pattern in 1964 was a lot further north than the 1862 flood. Also, the wiki article for 1862 says that that was an El Nino year.

In the early 70's my grandparents gave me their collection of NG. It was complete from about 1920 to the early 1960's when my grandfather retired from the Air Force & built his own sail boat to travel the world. The discoveries I made, and the knowledge I gained, from that collection were awesome!

I haven't used Usenet since probably around 2002. It seems like everything is still the same except for the indexer. I assume that is so you don't have to sign onto a bunch of binary groups into your newsreader and then search through them for what you want (part of the fun in the old days for me)? Is that correct, does anyone know?

My mother told me over and over to pull the plug should she ever end up on life support. When I found out she was on life support after a heart attack I immediately assumed that it would be her brother's choice to pull the plug or not. Nope, that horrendous decision belongs to the kids, namely me. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do but I understood and respected her wishes.
